It is understood that the 3D printing industry park of Guangzhou's service manufacturing industry cluster was approved by the Municipal Economic and Trade Commission in September this year.

This is the only industrial park in Guangzhou, which is led by the municipal government and set up by the 3D printing technology industry as the carrier of 3D printing industry design, R & D, software development, whole machine manufacturing and material supply.

"Dongsha was originally a traditional manufacturing gathering area. Based on the Guangzhou industrial design and Technology Park, we added 3D Printing Industrial Park, and 168 thousand square meters of old factory buildings can be pformed."

According to Chen Xiaochao, chairman of Guangzhou industrial design and Technology Park, there are still many 3D printing material manufacturers in the park. It is expected that there will be 15 3D printing upstream and downstream enterprises stationed in the park at the end of this year.

Chen Xiaochao said that the enterprises in the park will expand to the Pearl River Delta and other provinces next year. It is expected that 30 3D printing alumni will enter the park next year.

Yang Yongqiang said that in the world, the most sophisticated applications of 3D printing technology are still promising in aerospace and medicine.

3D printing can try to replace CNC on local and complex parts, but at present, compared with CNC, 3D printing technology is only a supplement.

"Now the media community has overheated 3D printing, and the good thing is that we all pay more attention to this technology. The bad thing is that the expectation of this technology is too high.

The potential of 3D printing is huge, but the expectation of the domestic public is too high, which is not conducive to the healthy development of the industry.

Yang Yongqiang believes that 3D technology is still in an initial stage, and it needs the government and all walks of life to invest in funds and human resources to develop many key technologies.

For example, the photovoltaic industry and LED industry were once very hot, but once the heat is over, people will not pay much attention.

"Now that 3D technology has been a bit too high, I am afraid that everyone will be disgusted with it later."

Yang Yongqiang said that 3D printing is still a small industry in China, and will play a revolutionary role in the development of manufacturing industry in the future. But at present, it is still in the period of technological research and development and market cultivation.

"It takes at least 5 to 10 years for 3D printing to form a truly complete industrial chain and industrial scale."

3D printing technology industry is everywhere?

In Yang Yongqiang's view, Guangdong 3D printing involves 3D printing equipment manufacturing, software development and 3D printing cloud manufacturing, 3D printing material technology and application processing services. It faces biomedical, precision parts, metal functional parts, jewelry models and other fields. However, the scale of small scale, power dispersion and "single fight" pattern is obvious, which is not conducive to the development of Guangdong 3D printing industry.

As an important manufacturing base in the world, Guangdong has a relatively sound market base, strong industrial pformation capability, abundant human resources, and a good ecological environment for medical device manufacturing.

But Yang Yongqiang said that at present, Guangdong 3D printing technology industry still lacks macro planning and guidance, the industry chain lacks overall development, and there are fewer units and enterprises engaged in 3D printing technology research and development and production, and small scale, lack of R & D power, it is difficult to meet the needs of product manufacturing, and there is a big gap with foreign countries.

Yang Yongqiang believes that Guangdong's 3D printing technology is still limited in the market opening.

First, the cost of industrial applications is expensive, and the market needs to be nurtured for some time.
