Luo Zheng: at that time, my team and I were all very excited. We could not restrain our excitement for several hours ahead of time, and stayed at the side of the TV all the time, because we could finally see our work. The whole design and creation lasted for a year, and there were many things. Every process and experience was not easy. When we saw the heads of state getting off the bus, we were really excited. So, both my assistant and I were screaming at the time when we two were in Beijing and we were the first to see it. They were especially happy.

Jiang Yingshuang: which leader wore your clothes on that day?

Luo Zheng: because the whole design creation is a team creation. Finally, there are 11 members. I am responsible for women leaders' costume creation. (South Korean President Park Geun hye's costume was created by Luo Zheng).

Jiang Yingshuang: when did you receive this task?

Luo Zheng: at the earliest time, it should be in December last year. I was the golden dress Award for the 2006 dress designer. Therefore, our enterprises and individuals received two invitations, so I was very excited. In the whole process of creation, at the beginning, we all included the men's dress at the time of the proposal. But in the second round of the 348 round of the 348 designers and enterprises (through screening), I chose myself as the specialty of women's wear, and I focused on the ladies and ladies.

Korean President Park Geun hye is something I remember vividly, because we have already put forward the first round of design creativity, including the totem of the sea cliff, which was confirmed at the very first time. Later, some adjustments were made, and then there were some changes in the rounds. This scene was previously designed for outdoor shooting. We considered the outdoor scene, because outdoor and indoor are not the same, including climate, temperature, clothing comfort, easy to wear and tear off all aspects, we have considered, and then after several rounds of continuous confirmation. And then returned to the first draft, that is, back to the first design and creation of the original pattern and drawings. Jiang Yingshuang: how many pieces of work did you take with you at that time?

Luo Zheng: first of all, we are proposing. I have designed three series - Peony, Magnolia and lotus. Each series has the totem creativity of the sea cliff. This is through several rounds of modification. We are basically responsible for creative design, that is, from inspiration to the whole configuration, there are other teams, as well as fabric team, accessories team, and men's wear group, so it is a systematic project.

Jiang Yingshuang: how big is this team?

Luo Zheng: it turned out to be more than 300, and then chose 60. At the time of the second round, they began to make samples, and then sent them to Beijing. Totem uses the same color line of hand embroidery technology, has a very rich texture.

Luo Zheng: I don't think there is much regret. I think everyone has made great efforts to achieve this step. But later I knew it was the blue background. If we knew it was a blue background, we might have some contrasts on the color. This is a little pity, but I am also very glad that President Park Geun hye chose the rose red, so I am also very happy, really very wise. Under the blue background, she is very pleasing and harmonious.

They are willing to wear it, because some guests in some countries sometimes do not wear their leaders, or sometimes they will not wear them.

Luo Zheng: maybe, maybe not for her. She can wear her own clothes. She also has selectivity. At that time, we were also very disturbed.
