International Footwear Industry Sharing Achievements, Exchanging Experiences And Exploring The Future

The thirty-third international footwear industry conference was held in India.

(IFC) in November 14, 2014, held in Agra, India, representatives from 12 countries and regions from Southeast Asian major footwear countries and regions, invited experts from the United States, Italy and Hungary, and representatives from India footwear industry attended the meeting.

Invited experts analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the world's footwear production and consumption in Italy, China, the United States and Southeast Asian countries, and discussed the current opportunities and challenges of the world footwear industry, as well as innovative footwear components, shoes, mass customization, 3D printing,

India is the host country of this conference. It is also the second largest producer of footwear in the world. The footwear industry in India currently employs 1 million people, mainly female workers, with an annual output of about 2000000000 pairs, second only to China.

95% of India's footwear output is for domestic sales, and exports are mainly European Union.

The market is about $5 billion 750 million, and footwear consumption per person is about 2 pairs, and men's shoes account for more than 50%.

The International Footwear Association (CIFA) conference was held. Member States and regions held discussions on follow-up IFDC sponsorship and collection of fees. The meeting attracted Bangladesh to become a new member of CIFA.

After the meeting, delegates visited local shoe making enterprises in India.

According to the arrangement, the 2015 IFC conference will be held in Busan, South Korea.
