Water Based Shoe Adhesive Fills Gaps In China'S Waterborne Polyurethane Adhesives

Recently, the national standard "waterborne polyurethane adhesive for shoes" was formally implemented by Hua Yu, Fujian science and Technology Development Co., Ltd.

With water as the carrier, the combination of its molecular structure as glue, no organic substances, and non-toxic environment-friendly adhesive standards has been formulated.

The blank of the field is at the international advanced level.

According to the introduction, the standard specifies the requirements, test methods, testing rules and requirements for marking, packaging, pportation and storage of waterborne polyurethane adhesives for shoes.

Waterborne polyurethane adhesives for shoes are water dispersive media without or containing only a small amount of residual organic solvents and no danger of explosion.

Compared with traditional solvent based adhesives containing large amounts of toxic and harmful, waterborne polyurethane adhesives for shoes have no toxicity, no smell, good initial adhesion and high peel strength for human and environment.

It is mainly used for shoe sole.

It has good bonding effect to most commonly used shoe materials, and it can be used directly without modifying the existing production line of solvent adhesive.

In response to the central call for the development of green products, improve the current situation of dirty and smelly environment in shoe factories, standardize the uniform standards for the use of water based adhesive for shoes.

Since 2006, KELONG Yu has been working with various units to carry out experimental research on the product of the project. After eight years of painstaking research and development, the index of this standard was approved by the National Technical Committee for standardization of adhesives in December 1st this year.

It is reported that the standard was put forward by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, and KELONG Yu (Fujian) Technology Development Co., Ltd. took the lead, jointly drafted the Putian Haixi shoe research and design center, People's Republic of China entry-exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau comprehensive technology service center, Anhui University and other units.
