The reporter learned today from a symposium on "training of Chinese leading lawyers in foreign countries" that the Ministry of justice and the National Bar Association formulated the plan for the training of high-quality lawyers' leading talents in early 2012. In the four years, we plan to train about 300 professionals who are proficient in related fields and international rules, have a global vision, have rich experience in practicing and cross language and cross cultural application ability, and understand the law, understand the economy and understand foreign languages.

For the first time, 37 trainees from China's leading foreign lawyers' training courses have successfully completed their training in the European Union, and the two training course has been opened.

Wang Junfeng, President of the National Bar Association, said that there are about 250 thousand practising lawyers in the whole country. The number of lawyers involved in foreign affairs is about 3000, of which 348 are in the foreign lawyers' database of the National Bar Association.
