H&M Announces 2014 Finalist Design Final Entries

A few days ago, the Swedish retailer giant H&M announced the list and work of its finalists in the 2014 Design Grand Prix Final. This competition provided an excellent opportunity for the graduating students of various design institutes to show their works to the world.

The students from 30 design institutes in 12 countries, after fierce competition, will be the last 8 designers to stand out from the 26 athletes in the semi-finals with their unique creativity and amazing design. They will also become the most promising designers in the same generation.

The 26 semifinals won nearly 5000 euros (about 41000 yuan) to fund the design of the new season.

The contestants were finally admitted to the finals in the evaluation of British designer Erdem (Erdem), Vogue magazine British edition editor Serena Hood, actress Michel Dacre (Michelle Dockery) and H&M design director Ann-Sofie Johansson.

The winner will receive a prize of 50 thousand euros, and will be able to display his works at the Mercedes Benz Stockholm fashion week at the end of this month. The winner will also be included in the H&M design talent pool, and is expected to become a new design star of H&M.
