After the "double 11" shopping carnival, many housewives began to worry: the family went into a pile.

    New clothes

The old clothes that have been changed over the years have not been disposed of yet. What can I do with the new old clothes waiting to be processed?

It is reported that the "recycling point of waste clothing" launched by Shanghai has entered the fourth year. So far, it is the only "crab box" in the country that has been in the community for the first 3 years.

The first enterprise to recover and reuse the old clothes did not make any profit until nearly 3 years ago.

"The market prospect of old clothes recycling is very good, but the development of this industry is also restricted by many aspects."

An industry insider said that in addition to its own policy threshold, the development of enterprises will also face multiple bottlenecks, such as technical bottlenecks, and standardize operation.

How much old clothes do you know?

Shanghai has 130 thousand tons of old clothes a year, so it's not environmentally friendly to be thrown away.

During the "double 11" period, Ms. Wang, who lives in Pudong, bought a lot of things on the Internet. It only cost thousands of yuan to buy clothes for a small family, while looking forward to the victories. Ms. Wang also worried that "every year, new clothes should always be added, but old clothes can not be thrown away all the time. Dressing up the wardrobe is a headache."

And Ms. Gu, who lives in Hongkou, told reporters that there are 5 people in her family. When they change their seasons each year, they will manage a bunch of clothes that they do not want to wear again.

"Last month, I ordered my closet, and I got out of ten kilograms of old clothes, which took up the place, and it was a pity to throw it away."

How to handle old clothes at home every year is a difficult problem for many housewives.

According to incomplete statistics, Shanghai now produces hundreds of tons of old clothes every day, up to 130 thousand tons a year.

At last, many people could not throw away their old clothes as rubbish.

As a result of health hazards, the import and trading of second-hand clothing are prohibited in China.

Most of the citizens may end up throwing away their old clothes as rubbish.

If clothes are discarded, they can only be disposed of by landfills.

Most of the clothes are made of chemical fibers, which are difficult to decompose.

It's really not environmentally friendly to throw away directly. "

    An environmentalist told reporters.

More than 2000 old clothes recycling boxes will be located in 12 thousand districts.

Reporters learned that, in order to facilitate the public to deal with old clothes, since 2010, the Shanghai greening and appearance Administration Bureau has begun to pilot the old clothes recycling in the city. The old clothes recycling bins are directly moved into the community, and the professional companies collects old clothes collects. At the end of 2010, the Linfen Street trial site in Zhabei District, the pilot project in 2011, and the official project in 2012 became a real project for the government.

Shanghai Yuanyuan Industrial Co., Ltd. is one of the 3 designated companies responsible for recycling old clothes. It is also the first enterprise to undertake pilot projects.

The first person in charge, Yang Yang Ying Ying, said that the original collection box was 1.65 meters high, 1 meters wide and 0.8 meters long. After that, the residents thought the box was too ugly. The collection box was pformed into a lovely giant panda's image. Each giant panda was recycled from 20 kilograms of waste clothes and could contain 60-80 kilograms of clothing.

Starting from the 28 boxes in 2010, up to now, 1800 of the recycling bins have been set up in the community, schools and other places in the city, including 900 of the first generation of blue iron recycling bins and the giant panda recycling bins.

In addition, there are more than 2000 clothing recycling bins installed by two other companies.

The reporter learned from the municipal waste management office that by the end of this year, there will be 3000 recycling equipment for all kinds of waste clothes, and 12 thousand residential areas with property management will be gradually settled in the city.

    {page_break}

In the past four years, the amount of recovery has increased 10 times, and the amount of recovery has increased year by year.

Where is the giant panda placed, it is calculated according to the actual population of the residential area, and the scientific layout is made, and a plot of 500 households will be set up.

With the increasing number of cloth spots, the amount of recycled clothes is increasing year by year.

In 2011, 480 cities were set up to recover 113 tons of old clothes. In 2012, more than 900 recycling bins were located in 935 social districts and schools, and the total amount of recycled clothing reached 305 tons. Last year, the number of boxes increased to 1502. The recovery in the first half of the year exceeded the total amount of the year before, and the total amount of recycled clothing reached more than 800 tons throughout the year.

Between the end of this year and the end of October, the recycle bin has increased to more than 2000, and the total recovery has exceeded 1000 tons.

In addition, the "giant panda" plot will be divided into three types: A, B and C. The old clothes are large for class A. they are usually collected once a week, and B class is collected once every half month. Some districts may not be able to fill the boxes for a month, and they are divided into C classes. Basically, they will receive clothes once a month.

"There will also be off-season and peak season for clothing. Like the annual season changing season, the frequency of clothing collection may increase. Sometimes, some residents who have not set up recycling points will call to help, and the company will go to collect clothes."

    Yang Yinghong told reporters.

    Old clothes and new faces

10% after the donation is free, 8% is sold to Africa.

Shanghai Yuan Yuan Industrial Co., Ltd. recycling old clothes have everything, seven or eight of the new thick clothes, also have very broken shirt, vest, shorts and so on.

The company's headquarters for clothing pportation to Qingpu must undergo a series of processes such as sorting, registering, sterilizing and so on.

"Weigh and weigh first, then register the quantity, and then the workers will do manual sorting."

It is reported that these recycled clothes usually have 2 "outlets" - relatively good winter clothes, such as cotton clothes,

    Down Jackets

It will be donated to poor areas after charity through boiling water beads, ozone disinfection, ironing and other disinfection processes.

Yang Yinghong, the director of Yuanyuan, told reporters that "some of the winter clothes, like cotton padded jacket, down coats and overcoats, are quite new and of good style. They will be able to be worn again. We will rearrange the registration. After that, we will pack them after ozone and ultraviolet rays, and then send them to the charitable foundation or to the poor areas."

After sweating, some sweaters will be sent to the community love knitting society after being sterilized. Love mothers use these wool to reweave, and then donate to those in need. This is also a project in cooperation with the city women's Federation.

The above two parts account for about 10% of the total clothing.

There are also some new summer clothes that also have needs.

Such as Africa, the Middle East and other tropical areas, the demand for summer clothing is very large. After finishing disinfection in the same way, it can be sold directly to some NGOs in the local area to relieve refugees.

The average selling price is about 5000 yuan per ton, so it is very popular with some non-governmental organizations abroad, which accounts for about 8% of all old clothes.

    {page_break}

80% become new raw materials, and make profitable business for enterprises.

The remaining 80% of the old clothes are basically old clothes that can no longer be worn. After sorting, these clothes will be sent to the field for fibrotic treatment and made into non-woven fabrics and regenerated gloves. Some of the cotton fabrics can also be used for processing clothing after fibrosis.

This is also the main profitable business of "Yuanyuan".

According to Yang Yinghong, ordinary textile materials can be divided into four categories according to different fiber components, such as wool, cotton, chemical fiber and blended fabric. The workers will be classified according to four categories, and then sell these "original products" to cotton textile or wool textile production cooperative enterprises in the field.

"Recycling, disinfection and sorting belong to the upper and middle reaches of old clothes recycling, and the reprocessing is the downstream link, mainly in cooperation with some other companies in the field."

Different clothes will be sent to different places to regenerate enterprises.

Woollen clothes will be sent to textile companies in Shandong for fiber treatment, cotton spinning, blending and so on. Generally, they will be sent to Zhejiang, Zhejiang, Anhui and other places. Shoes and bags will be sold to Zhejiang Huzhou rubber and plastic recycling enterprises to make recycled raw materials, and some jeans can be made into bags.

All recycled raw materials can be reused in industry and agriculture.

Yang Yinghong said that the price of recycled raw materials is much cheaper than that of raw materials, so it is very popular.

"For example, the price of the most expensive wool, a brand new pure wool raw material is about 50 thousand yuan per ton, and the price of our recycled woolen material is about 20 thousand yuan per ton, if the price of finished garments can reach 150 thousand yuan per ton."

It is reported that at present, the new products from the company's recycling of old clothes have been exported to the United States, France, Italy, Russia, Japan and other countries.

Old clothes are not so easy to make gold.

Shanghai Yuanyuan Industrial Co., Ltd. is the first enterprise in China to classify, collate and adjust the comprehensive utilization of waste clothing.

Yang Yinghong, the head of the company, admitted that the old clothes had a bright future in recycling the industry, but fewer people did so, especially the standardized operation.

Today, they have killed a "blood road" and formed an industrial chain. Since 2011, the company has been in a state of loss. Until last year, with the increase of the "giant panda" and the increase of the amount of recycling, the industrial chain became more and more stable. In July, the company finally realized its profit.

Monthly operating costs 7.5-10 million, rising year by year

"Although we are doing practical projects, we have not taken any money from the government until now."

Yang Yinghong said that he retired from the government, and he had retired wages. Although he was the president of the company, he did not take the company's wages.

It has been losing money in 2011 and did not start to make any profit until last year.

Yang Yinghong calculated the accounts to reporters. "The company now has 2200 square warehouses in Qingpu, including the site fee, the pportation cost of 4 vehicles, and the manpower cost of 25 employees. In the first two years, the average operating cost of the company is about 7.5-10 yuan per month, and now the monthly operation cost nearly 150 thousand yuan, which does not include the purchase and maintenance cost of the old clothes recycling bin.

But at best, one month's earnings.
