Over the past year, more than 50 tons of medical waste were bought from private clinics.

In the afternoon of May 21, 2014, law enforcement officers of the Lucheng environmental monitoring group and the Lucheng public security sub Bureau seized 9.43 tons of medical waste in Cao's home.

After hearing the case in Lucheng, the court held that the medical waste involved in the case belonged to hazardous waste. According to the law, the illegal discharge, dumping and disposal of more than 3 tons of hazardous waste should be regarded as seriously polluting the environment.

Cao and others violated state regulations and illegally disposed of more than 3 tons of hazardous waste, seriously polluting the environment. Their behavior has constituted a crime of polluting the environment.

According to the criminal role of Cao and others in this case, the Lucheng court sentenced Cao to 2 years' imprisonment and fined 30 thousand yuan, and sentenced him to 1 years' imprisonment, 1 years and 6 months' probation, and 20 thousand months' penalty. He sentenced him to a 1 year 3 month prison sentence and a fine of 15 thousand yuan. He sentenced him to a life imprisonment of 8 months and a fine of 10 thousand yuan.
