How can we make the capital market understand your company and what you do?
Lu Zhaoxi: I walked around the earth two times a month ago. I saw many investors and analysts in the capital market. Generally speaking, overseas comments on Ali were much more positive than that in China. I don't know why. I think I'm a fault in China.
Amazon is a very great company. We must learn a lot from Amazon, but there are a lot of people who are looking for Alibaba overseas. The key is that we know what we want to do next based on our core business, especially knowing what our customers want, doing things for ourselves and doing things for others.
The biggest change that Internet brings to us is that we used to do things for ourselves. The Internet is the altruism spirit. First we do for others, and let others get value in the work and service you provide, then you can get what you want.
We have made a very good communication with investors and overseas media. We hope to have more communication. Ali is definitely not perfect. There are many problems in this company, but we are changing in the direction of better and better.
In the United States, there can be no such company as Alibaba, because the credit environment is perfect, retail is very developed, just two aspects of China are relatively lacking, so the birth of such a company.
So every company has a specific environment in the locality. I think it is not important for foreigners to read and understand. After all, some people are optimistic about us.
Reporter: Ali has played a lot more in the US after listing, such as promoting global purchase and installment purchase. What is the business logic of your new business?
Lu Zhaoxi: Ali only focuses on customers, and focuses on customer demand.
In the past, we didn't understand the market, and looked at the American market, at least there was an example. But today we surpass it. We reexamine what exactly the market needs.
Like the rural strategy, it began four years ago, so that all China's agricultural and sideline products can be sold on Taobao Tmall to meet the needs of consumers.
In fact, there is still greater social value besides meeting the needs of society, that is, the problems encountered in the process of urbanization.
If we can solve this big social problem today, we will create higher value, and we will get better returns.
Strategy is not just like this, but in the whole process, it keeps following the market and following the changes.

There is a value called hugging change. We are often hugged by changes and dragged by the market. Bring goods from developed areas and coastal areas to backward areas.
Second, internationalization is based on China's first step. Products go out and bring merchandise in to meet local consumption and consumption abroad.
The internationalization of Ali is divided into several steps, first of all, based on China. China is the world's largest market. China will surely become the world's largest consumer market in the future.
Bringing foreign goods into China is actually an international process. It is an international step to link international goods to local consumers in China and to the local market.
In addition, China has a large number of production enterprises, they produce a lot of products, these products need to be sold overseas, at the earliest time foreign trade is the export of B2B mode, the future may be B2C and C2C exports.
What Ali can do now can be seen that this growth has been very large. Today, the large demand for B2C and C2C comes from developing countries and underdeveloped areas.
Third, big data and cloud computing, today Ali can withstand such a large volume of pactions, because we have invested a lot of resources in cloud computing to do research and development, today we do not have a IBM machine, no EMP storage, all use domestic manufacturers like HUAWEI, Lenovo produced PC server, thousands of Taiwan union together, forming huge computing power and storage capacity.
