Before I came to Taiwan, I heard some voices saying that you didn't need to teach entrepreneurship. But after four years of teaching, six years of teaching, "being a good teacher" is probably our nature.
I have been teaching in school for 6 years and feel that I have not finished my duties as a teacher. I often have the opportunity to speak to a university. Some people say you speak in Beijing, Shanghai and the United States, why don't you come to Taiwan? There's just a chance to meet the president's invitation, so she came over.

First, about entrepreneurship:
1, Alibaba's entrepreneurship is criticized and scolded all the way. Without the curse, I would be particularly nervous. Because the world is changing rapidly, and it is becoming more and more diversified. Any point of view, we can use our own heads to judge, we can have different views to show the future and look at it.
2. Alibaba Luckily, the cost and effort of us are beyond our imagination. There are too many tears, frustrations and setbacks behind us. Guo Dong (Terry Gou) is here, we are all over. When I started my business, I thought that businesses were not so much pain and trouble. They could go to the beach to enjoy their life and smoke cigars like rich people.
3, we should not listen to others, think for ourselves, find some like-minded people, and give ourselves a determination. I will do it for five years and ten years. Ali is coming out this way today. This road is also the way for all entrepreneurs to go. Maybe this is also the basic principle.
Two, these experiences have helped me a lot.
1, learn English. My English is not formal education, chat out. No one in our family knows English. I ride my bike at the front of the Hangzhou hotel every morning and practice English with foreigners who travel abroad. I have been a free tour guide and I have been chatting for nine years.
In the past nine years, what I have benefited most is not only the language, but also the understanding of different things, and the understanding of some western thinking and culture. Because in fact, you learn not language, but culture, and learn how to develop another country and region. So far, when I go to cooperate all over the world, I can understand what is the starting point behind it. If we only communicate through translation, sometimes it will be difficult to understand.
2, he is a teacher. He became the chairman of the student union and became the chairman of the student union. He learned how to understand others and organize activities. When I was assigned to teach in a university, the then principal said that you would not be allowed to teach in 5 years. I promised. Later, the days at school were more difficult, because it was also a teacher, and my graduation school was the worst. Later, someone in Shenzhen promised me 1200 wages and Hainan willing to pay 3600 yuan. But commitment is commitment. If you say no, you can't go, so you have been teaching in a school for six years.
In the past 6 years, I have benefited greatly from my experience as a teacher in charge of a class. Because the consensus of all teachers is that they want students to be good and able to surpass themselves, and feel that if students are wrong, they will jump out and do not want students to learn bad. So until now, I am still a teacher. Every day, I hope employees can surpass me and do better than me in the company.
3, failure experience. Failure is normal. Life's greatest asset is your past failures. I've had a lot of bad luck. Everyone knows that I've had dozens of jobs rejected, and I've never been successful in my life. 24 people went to KFC interview, only I was not admitted (the boss is Taiwanese). No one, including my parents, thought I would succeed. I asked my wife, "do you want me to be the richest person or the respectable person?" She said you were the richest? How could it be! Of course, be respected.
Learning language has opened up a vision. Being a student cadre and being a teacher has exercised mental state and organizational ability.
Three, the three important points of Entrepreneurship:
1, optimism. Whether you admit it or not, in essence, most people are optimistic. I didn't find myself optimistic before. Anyway, from small to big, I failed. I got used to it. I felt very good when I failed. Learn to warm your left hand with your right hand, and believe that tomorrow will be better than today. When starting a business in 1999, it is almost impossible to promote e-commerce to Chinese enterprises. We ran ten customers, and ten of them were rejected. Then one of us did not refuse, and we were very happy and pleased.
10 years later, there will be more and more excellent companies, and you are still complaining. There are different pains at different stages. No one has ever talked to you before, and you are suffering; now those who are looking for you are the ones who care about you.
2, check your problems. To be an enterprise is like fighting a war and coming back alive is success. Those who always say that others are wrong will never come back. So take the time to see how others fail and check their own problems.
3, beyond the ordinary people's ability to persist. For more than 10 years, I often thought in the evening: "quit, it's boring." I got up in the morning or went on with my work. If you are afraid of competition, don't be an enterprise. If you are afraid of being scolded, don't start your business. Where is the difference between dreams and ideals? To be a pilot, to be a boss or to be a professor is called a dream. What is the ideal? There are a group of teams, a group of people understand and support together, the ideal is to become a reality.
Four. The best time to start a business.
1, there is no better time than this era, because we have never met the present opportunity. Every generation has every generation's responsibilities, every generation's opportunities, THIS IS OUR TIME. The first and second industrial revolutions release human physical energy and energy respectively, and the technological revolution we are experiencing is releasing the human brain and developing from the IT era to the DT era. Many young people are unwilling to accept reality, so you can make better innovations.
2, in the next thirty years, the whole change will far exceed everyone's imagination. Some people say that supermarkets are not easy to sell because of Taobao. But you don't understand that Taobao will not sell well because consumer demand is becoming more individualized, and this is the development of society.
3, innovation is endless. What everyone looks for is not opportunity. A college student sells mosquitoes specimens on Taobao, and sells well.
