China Textile Association: Textile And Garment Enterprises Should Take The Initiative To Disclose Relevant Social Responsibility Reports

He called on industry enterprises to take the initiative to disclose relevant social and environmental information reports, so that enterprises can become active and pparent from passive publicity.

At the seminar, Hu Kehua made a speech on "information disclosure and sustainable development of social responsibility in textile industry".

He pointed out that China's environmental protection is becoming more and more serious.

The pressure of environmental protection is also increasing. In the future, the proportion of energy and environmental costs will exceed the cost of labor, and directly affect the competitiveness of enterprises' sustainable development.

At the same time, as a representative of China's manufacturing industry, the awareness of social responsibility and action of all sectors of society are constantly improving and deepening. However, due to the lack of understanding of the textile industry, many enterprises do not understand the problems in the development, which leads to the rising cost of business, the need for cooperation with stakeholders and the demand for third party guarantees.

In this context, industry organizations encourage enterprises to take the initiative to disclose relevant social and environmental information, so as to gain the initiative and win the trust of market posture, and create a good external environment for the sustainable development of enterprises.

In fact, in recent years, China Textile Industry Federation has attached great importance to the related work of social responsibility and environmental information reporting of industrial enterprises.

The CSR Office of the China Federation of textile industry is also working hard to promote relevant work. Since last year, special exhibition hall has been set up every year to promote the sustainable development of the industry. In addition, it has actively promoted the "responsibility assets" online platform.

And stakeholders to provide an online platform for information disclosure, communication and capacity building for sustainable development, to promote disclosure of corporate social responsibility information and promote the development of responsible supply chains in the global textile industry.

According to Hu Kehua, the "responsibility assets" project has three main functions, one is to create an online reporting system for social responsibility reporting, and to encourage more industry enterprises to apply CSR-GATEs to issue social responsibility reports.

Two, we should "digitalization", "accounting", "auditing" and "reconstructing" the "responsibility assets" balance sheet of "responsible production" enterprises' sustainable development management performance.

The three is to achieve "consumer brand" and "manufacturing brand" in the "people-oriented", "green production" and "green products" and other sustainable development value restructuring and sharing, and promote the pparency of supply chain and multi stakeholder mutual trust.
