The problems found in the inspection cotton imported in 2014 were mainly: there were multiple producing areas and lots of batches of cotton and sold in batches, which led to the difficulty in ensuring consistency and resulted in a downgrade. The quality difference between the sample and the actual cotton was too large; the cotton packing was not standardized, resulting in the pollution of cotton bags and the deterioration of the quality; the phenomenon of short weight was serious, and some batches were short packed; there were mixed cotton, foreign fiber, mildew and harden; a few overseas suppliers were not honest and fraudulent.
