IndustriAll said that this proposal should be rejected, and the trade unions should co-operate with each other to propose better wage demands and urgently demand the national industrial wage agreement to replace the regional system.
The IndustriAll branch also confirmed that Indonesia needed to develop links between industries as part of the development policy of processing and transportation.
The Indonesian government has formulated 2011-2025 national development plan It is called MP3EI, but the trade unions have not been consulted. Most of them are not aware of the plan.
