China'S Old Clothing Recycling Policy Needs To Be Regulated.
This means that the sooner people are involved, the easier it will be.
"When it comes to changing seasons, do you have a feeling that every time you dress your closet, you will find that a lot of clothes that you never wear have taken up a lot of space.
There seems to be no other way to deal with donations than to donate.
A lady complained to the international finance daily.
In fact, how to deal with old clothes is a big problem for most families.
Data show that Americans throw up trash cans 11 million 100 thousand tons per year.
The US Environmental Protection Agency points out that on average, about 70 pounds of cloth and other textiles are discarded annually by the American people, and textiles account for about 5% of urban refuse, but only 15% of them are recycled, much less than those of newspapers 72% and coke cans 50%.
If
Old clothes
Effective utilization will make a great contribution to environmental protection and emission reduction.
According to Chinese waste
textile
Taking advantage of the data of the industrial technology innovation alliance, if China's annual 20 million tons of waste textiles can achieve 60% comprehensive utilization rate, it can provide 9 million 400 thousand tons of chemical fiber annually, equivalent to 18 million tons of crude oil, and 4 million 700 thousand tons of natural fiber, equivalent to 16 million mu of arable land.
Moreover, it has amazing value in China's old clothes recycling and recycling.
In the domestic part of the old clothes net, the price list for old clothes in summer is 5500-7300 yuan for each ton of old clothes, 5300-7100 yuan for Zhejiang, and 5000-6800 yuan for Jiangsu.
This is only the domestic recovery price, and the actual export price will be higher.
To this end, clothing recycling has become a key project in resource recycling around the world. It is also a new environmental protection topic. Some retailers have also begun to take part in the recycling of old clothes.
Perhaps most people do not know that in the discarded waste clothing, the ratio can be reused up to 95%.
In developed countries, recycling of waste textiles and clothing has long been a chess game.
According to the data of China Textile Economic Research Center, 1 million 900 thousand tons of waste textiles and clothing are discarded every year, and about 42% or nearly 800 thousand tons are recycled and reused each year. In the United States, 68 pounds (31 kilograms) of textiles and clothing are discarded per person per year, and about 1 million 133 thousand tons of textile and clothing are recycled each year. More than half of them are donated to charity by second-hand clothing, and about 226 thousand tons of waste textiles and clothing have been reused.
Pu Yuanshun, who founded the Korean charity store "beautiful shop", did not think that in just 10 years, the "beautiful shop" has been located in the main cities of Korea and has set up more than 120 branches.
As a charity supermarket that donated and reused the old clothes, the "beautiful shop" received 10 million second-hand clothes donated in the year, and realized a profit of 4 billion won (about 22000000 yuan).
In fact, like China, South Korea does not have the habit of "idle donation" and "wearing second-hand clothes".
On the contrary, people always feel that wearing "clothes worn by others" and "using other people's things" will bring bad luck.
The operation mode of charity shops is to encourage people to donate idle clothes, articles, furniture and books, and sell them again at a low price.
In Seoul, where the monthly average income is twenty thousand yuan, the second-hand clothing of "beautiful shop" is basically around twenty or thirty yuan, and 5 yuan clothes are not uncommon.
In order to reduce the operating cost of the store, all the second-hand clothes sold in the "beauty shop" will not be cleaned or sterilized, and will be sold directly after donation.
Korean people usually clean and disinfect and then donate to stores.
In China, in the spring of 2012, garment enterprises also started the recycling of old clothes, leading the trend of "fashion garbage" recycling.
In March 1, 2012, UNIQLO, a Japanese casual wear producer, launched its first full product recycling campaign in Shanghai, China, but its recycled clothing was limited to its own brand.
All these recycled garments are donated to the Shanghai charity materials management center of Shanghai charity foundation, all of which are donated to the regular social donation projects organized by Shanghai Municipal Bureau of civil affairs.
In the same year, the imperial group and the domestic sportswear Enterprises
Lining
Cooperate to launch the old clothes recycling plan.
Lining store sent the old clothes back to the Japanese man's fiber company, which was converted into polyester raw material after chemical decomposition and used in the production of new recyclable products. Sports brand Puma (Puma) also carried out the old clothing recycling activities in Beijing and Shanghai stores to recover the brand old shoes, old clothes and old accessories.
In March 2013, H&M, which launched the old clothes recycling scheme at 48 stores in the world, adopted a similar approach with Puma: each person can take up to two bags of idle clothes to a designated store every day, and each bag of clothing can be exchanged for a coupon.
H&M Shanghai Huaihailu Road shop manager introduced, when many times, can even receive sixty or seventy bags of clothes every day.
It is reported that H&M and Puma have chosen I:CO as partners.
I:CO has the most advanced textile recycling plant and the demonstration process control system, which can handle 400 tons of classified textiles per day.
Moreover, every collection of a kilogram of clothing, I:CO will donate 0.02 euros to the charitable organizations designated by the cooperative enterprises.
In addition to retailers, in order to facilitate the public to deal with old clothes, in 2010, the Shanghai greening and appearance Administration Bureau began to pilot the old clothes recycling in the city. The old clothes recycling bins were directly moved into the community, and the professional companies collects the old clothes collects. At the end of 2010, the streets were tested in Linfen streets of Zhabei District, and the pilot projects in 2011 were officially launched in 2012.
For the Chinese market with an annual output value of up to 1 trillion and 300 billion yuan, the recycling of old clothes is still a "rich ore" that has not been fully developed per million tons per year.
Shanghai Yuanyuan Industrial Co., Ltd. is one of the 3 companies designated by the relevant departments of Shanghai to recover old clothes.
Yang Yinghong, the head of the company, said that as of the end of October 2014, the recovery bin of his company has increased to more than 2000, and the total amount of recycling has exceeded 1000 tons.
"There will also be off-season and peak season for clothing. Like the annual season changing season, the frequency of clothing collection may increase. Sometimes, some residents who have not set up recycling points will call to help, and the company will go to collect clothes."
Yang Yinghong said that these recycled clothes usually have several "outlets": relatively good winter clothing, such as cotton clothes and down garments, will be donated to poor areas through charitable organizations after treatment by boiling water balls, ozone disinfection and ironing processes.
After sweating, some sweaters will be sent to the community love knitting society after being sterilized. The loving mothers will use these wool to reweave and donate to the people in need. This is also a project co operating with the Shanghai women's Federation.
The above two parts account for about 10% of the total clothing. There are also some new summer clothes, which can be sold directly to some non-governmental organizations in tropical areas such as Africa and the Middle East for the relief of refugees in the same way.
The average selling price is about 5000 yuan per ton, so it is very popular, which accounts for about 8% of all old clothes. The remaining 80% of the old clothes are basically old clothes that can no longer be worn. After sorting, these clothes will be sent to the field for fibrotic treatment to make non-woven fabrics and regenerated gloves. Some of the pure cotton fabrics can also be used for processing clothing after fibrosis.
This is also the main profitable business of Yuanyuan.
Yang Yinghong said that the price of recycled raw materials is much cheaper than that of raw materials, so it is very popular.
"The most expensive one.
Wool material
For example, the price of a new pure wool raw material is about 50 thousand yuan per ton.
And the price of recycled woolen material is only about 20 thousand yuan per ton, if the price of finished garments can reach 150 thousand yuan per ton.
It is reported that at present, the new products from the enterprise to recover the old clothing "output" have been sold to the United States, France, Italy, Russia, Japan and other countries.
It is worth noting that before Hainan, Guangdong and other places, old clothes recycling processing plants were repeatedly investigated by industry and commerce, and the old clothing industry was in a state of panic.
"Street vendors not only buy the old clothes of the citizens, but also buy contaminated old clothes from the dustbins at the garbage cans and go to unhealthy, non-standard stalls."
Yang Yinghong believes that the disorderly flow of waste clothes without social responsibility is a harmful behavior.
In this regard, Fang Xiaodong, founder of China's old clothes net, admitted that the legal policy of China's clothing recycling industry is still blank.
Insiders said that the market prospect of old clothes recycling is very good, but the development of this industry is also restricted by many aspects.
In addition to its own policy threshold, a company will face multiple influences such as technological bottlenecks and standardized operation.
There are still some enterprises that are in the name of old clothes, but they are very irregular. Some of them are categorization no matter where they go, some of them are not standardized, and they are even sold to those peddlers.
In fact, resources have not been reused.
While recycling waste clothes, the government still needs to have some regulatory measures to make the people feel more secure.
