The Second China Korea Convention On Traditional Costumes Was Held In Xi'An

It is jointly organized by Xi'an Polytechnic University and Consulate General of Korea, Consulate General of Xi'an, Foreign Affairs Office of Shaanxi Provincial People's government, Shaanxi Provincial People's Association for friendship with foreign countries, Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts and so on.

It was held in Xi'an.

Li Kangguo, Consul General of the South Korean Consulate General in Xi'an, Ma Duoping, Deputy Secretary General of the Shaanxi provincial CPPCC, and Gao Yong, President of Xi'an Polytechnic University, delivered speeches at the seminar.

In his address, Li Kangguo pointed out that there are thousands of years of exchanges between Korea and China. The two countries understand each other's culture and traditions, and the foundation of their relations will be stronger.

He hoped for the second "Korean Chinese tradition".

The seminar will provide new opportunities for both sides to further understand and recognize the traditional culture of the two countries.

Ma Du Ping pointed out that in 2014, Shaanxi held a series of activities on the theme of cultural exchanges between China and South Korea, including the "Sino Korea traditional costumes seminar".

In 2015, the Ministry of foreign affairs of the two countries again incorporated the activities into the list of exchanges and cooperation projects of the Joint Committee on human and cultural exchanges between China and South Korea in 2015.

He stressed that China and South Korea have a long history and splendid culture. They should respect the uniqueness of each other, expand the common nature of the two sides, understand, contain and support each other, so that the "Korean stream" and the "Han style" can be reflected in each other.

He hoped that the two sides of the same industry would create sparks in communication, create ideas, add color to the lives of the two peoples and enrich the connotation of cultural exchanges between China and South Korea.

Gao Yong first introduced the school's development history and school running characteristics.

He pointed out that on the basis of the tradition of "serving the country by industry and carrying forward the country", the school highlighted the combination of Arts and industry with distinctive characteristics of running schools.

The school attaches great importance to the road of internationalization and attaches great importance to exchanges and cooperation with Korean universities. In June 2014, it signed the basic agreement on academic and educational exchanges with the Central University of Korea.

He said that clothing is the exploration and pursuit of beauty by human beings. The highest state of clothing beauty is the unity of external and internal beauty, and is the combination of image and wisdom.

Elegant clothing must blend elegant thoughts and feelings into human's deep exploration of freedom and love.

He hoped that experts from both countries would take this opportunity as an opportunity.

As a carrier, we should deepen exchanges, strengthen cooperation and innovate together with clothing culture as a link.

Subsequently, Professor Lv Zhao, associate professor of the school of clothing and art design, associate professor Tian Baohua, Professor Cui Yin Qing, Professor Zhang Minzhen, and Professor Zhang Minzhen of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, respectively, made an academic report on the theme of "North China folk traditional costume design", "Tang Dynasty court costumes", "Korean people's costumes - Hanfu", "modern application of Korean traditional clothes" and "contemporary Chinese style dress design".

From different angles, experts have made an in-depth exposition of the materials, patterns, colors, crafts and cultural connotations of the traditional costumes of the two countries.

And through the international famous clothing design work picture demonstration, the scene dynamic show, the physical object demonstration and so on lets the audience feel the Chinese and Korean traditional clothing culture element in the modern clothing design the widespread, ingenious application.

The integration of traditional cultural elements and modern design concepts is natural and beautiful. Designers perfectly practice the "Chinese style" and "Korean style" in modern fashion design, and the combination of clothing comfort, visual beauty and cultural inheritance is seamless.

It is reported that in 2014, the school held the first Sino Korean Convention on traditional costumes with the consulate of Korea in Xi'an. Experts and scholars from both China and South Korea jointly displayed their traditional costumes and explored the oriental culture behind their costumes.

The second Sino Korean Seminar on traditional costumes has built a broader platform for the two institutions and experts, laying a solid foundation for further exchanges and cooperation between the two sides, and playing a positive role in further deepening the understanding and friendship between the two peoples.
