Emma CNC Global First Intelligent Leather Cutting Robot

Emma CNC was pformed from a labor-intensive small shoe factory built in the early 90s of last century. As early as 2002, they saw the irreplaceable role played by machine replacement in improving production efficiency.
After years of running in with the first-line shoemaking factories, the self-developed leather intelligent cutting robot can raise the utilization ratio of one leather to 89%.
If a leather is cut by hand, the novice can only make use of 80% or more than 6 years of hand making, and only 83% can be used.
An irregular natural leather material should be smoothed through the intelligent cutting robot of Emma numerical control.
Shoe upper
First, data scanning is needed to change the traditional paper shoe into CAD file, that is, the electronic version of the traditional cardboard.
Traditional shoes and cardboard need to be painted by hand.
There are two ways to cut leather materials. One is to compare them with paper boards, and then to cut them with scissors.
The two is to cut with a knife.
Obviously, hand shears are of poor accuracy.
If a skilled worker completes a workload of 1000 cardboards a day, the workload of the worker will be very large.
If you cut with a knife, every newly designed shoe has different shoes. If a shoe does not have an order, it will be useless to spend thousands of dollars.
It can be seen that both the cardboard and the knife die are very demanding for manpower.
The advantage of using electronic version is that different cardboard can be painted with data scanner or cursor.
After digitalization of solid cardboard, it lays a foundation for more key processes.
After scanning, the CAD document will be sent to the robot that really performs the cutting function. At the top of the robot there is a high-definition digital camera with tens of millions of pixels. It will identify the defect spots carried by the natural leather material itself and then CAD files.
Leather material
Last, typesetting is done, and final typesetting is the best utilization plan after tens of thousands of calculations.
Through projection technology, the CAD graphics are displayed on the leather material. These shapes can be used to make full use of leather.
The most subtle aspect of the robot is the processing of the defective points. The defects of the original leather material just fall on the seam or the position of the package.
The best utilization rate of typesetting will be pmitted to the cutting zone immediately.
The two flexible mechanical arms emit the special sound effect when the robot runs, and the rhythm of the left and right starts simultaneously, at the end, the sharp knife head starts to smooth the leather according to the instructions issued, and the shoe leather surface of each shoe is thus heard out.
Generally speaking, a skilled worker works for 6 years. Only 10 pairs of shoes are available on such a piece of leather, and only 8.5 pairs of new ones can be used. Usually five or six workers are required to spend an hour or so.
However, manual adoption often leads to such a situation: ensuring speed but not ensuring accuracy, ensuring utilization rate, but not ensuring speed.
Therefore, manual cutting can achieve the accuracy of cutting robot, which may take longer.

This robot can only take about 3 minutes for intelligent typesetting, and it can also be done on the side while cutting.
As a whole, 2 people operate a machine and only need 6 minutes to cut a piece of raw leather, which can replace the workload of five or six workers.
The time is short, the quality is good, and the work efficiency is greatly improved.
It is reported that the entire robot sells at 600 thousand yuan, and more than 300 customers at home and abroad have actively sought Emma's numerical control order.
"Even with the loss of cooked workers and the recruitment of a new worker with only 3 months' experience, the robot will get the same result."
Emma, President of CNC, said that the concept of cutting has not been formed in foreign countries, because in the development of China's footwear industry, there will be various needs in the production process, making it easier for Chinese enterprises to develop such robots.
