School Of Arts, Yanjing Polytechnic

The Humanities Institute has 8 undergraduate majors, namely, the legal system and the art department. There are 8 teaching and research sections, 4 research institutes and 5 educational centers in the legal system, with an average employment rate of 99.44%. The art building of the art department is the largest exhibition center in the Jingdong area, providing a good platform for academic exchanges between students and teachers.

Art Majors

The Yanjing Polytechnic Institute of art began to recruit students in 2006. In 2009, the Independent College of art was officially established. Currently, there are 2762 students and five graduates. The Institute specializes in accordance with the needs of the society. It has 4 Majors: clothing design, visual communication design, environmental art design and product design.

After 8 years of professional development, the Academy of art has built up nearly 100 teachers, combining advanced, teaching and practical skills. The advanced teaching facilities and excellent teaching conditions provide a strong guarantee for teaching. The Institute has now set up several professional level laboratories. The independent art building has an area of more than 8000 square meters and provides a complete teaching environment for students. The largest exhibition and Exhibition Center in the Jingdong area provides a good academic exchange platform for students and teachers. Since the establishment of the Institute of art, nearly 100 students have been admitted to graduate schools. There are many postgraduate students from Peking University, Beijing Film Academy, and the famous universities in Chicago, Illinois and Technology University. In recent years, under the leadership of professional teachers, there have been 546 awards and 113 awards in 2014. The annual college student festival held on schedule not only shows students' innovative ability, but also reflects the ability of organizing and planning activities. Since January 2014, the Institute of art has opened up overseas classroom learning activities, opening up a window to understand the new concept of art and design, and broadening the horizons and creativity of students.

Clothing and costume design

This specialty consists of two professional directions: character design and costume art design. The character design is the professional direction of our school.

Main courses: fashion make-up, modern hairstyle design, fashion photography, fashion design and effect picture performance, clothing structure design and technology, clothing technology, brand women's wear design, brand men's wear design, dress design, clothing CAD, film and TV makeup and hair production, dress matching and overall modeling.

Training objectives and direction of service: cultivate a wide range of knowledge, comprehensive quality, innovative thinking, systematic knowledge of clothing design, make-up design, hairstyle design, fashion photography, fashion design and plate making, fashion character modeling and other professional knowledge and skills. With strong practical ability and innovative spirit, it can independently serve as fashion, stage, film and television clothing design and make-up modeling professional talents. Visual communication design

This specialty consists of two professional directions: new media art design, brand and communication art design.

Main courses: web design, UI design, FLASH mastery and application, brand image design, film and television language, experimental video, video post production, book design, packaging and structural design.

This specialty has two professional directions: space display design and space art design.
