It is a traditional industry and advantageous industry in our county. It is also one of the leading industries identified by our county in recent years. At present, it has initially formed a complete industrial chain from mechanical equipment, spinning, weaving, weaving, printing and dyeing to garments, and has achieved a good start from following development to leading development and fast changing. Among them, the covered yarn industry has taken the lead in development, and has been designated by the China Textile Industry Federation as the drafting and formulating standard for the consumption standard of the covering yarn processing trade.

Through vigorous support and cultivation, at present, there are 226 textile enterprises in the county, of which 118 are above scale enterprises. In 2014, the sales revenue of the textile industry increased by 43.7% compared with the same period last year, and the total volume of the textile industry ranked first in Northern Jiangsu Province. Among them, 9 new high-tech enterprises were approved by the state, 8 were granted provincial R & D institutions, and the annual sales volume was more than 50 million yuan.

Hu Jianjun, Secretary of the county Party committee and the Party Working Committee of the Shuyang economic and Technological Development Zone, delivered a speech at the meeting and answered questions from the media and entrepreneurs.

In the future, our county will continue to accelerate the elimination of obsolete equipment and backward technology, promote the continuous pformation and upgrading of the textile industry, and make the textile industry a sustainable and high-tech sunrise industry.

At the meeting, Hu Jianjun sincerely invited people from all walks of life who had investment intentions to invest in the industry and create the future. He also said that our county would continue to do a good job of supporting services, and strive to create a better environment for the development of enterprises.

Yang Shibin made a report on the national knitting industry at the conference. He systematically explained and analyzed the current situation and development direction of the knitting industry in China. He highly appraised the remarkable achievements made in the development of the textile industry in our county. He thought that as a high ground for undertaking the industrial pfer in the North and south, the county has the ability to undertake the pfer of the economic development of the textile industry across the South of Jiangsu economic circle. It also indicated that it would further increase publicity and promotion efforts to promote the textile industry in the county to a new level.

The meeting was chaired by the Standing Committee of the county Party committee, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee of Shuyang economic and Technological Development Zone and Yang Yunfeng, executive deputy director of the management committee.

At the meeting, Wang Dongqing made a guiding statement on the development of the cross river economy; Zhao hung, vice president of the China knitted Industrial Association, signed the "strategic cooperation agreement on the development of the covering yarn industry" at the meeting with the development zone; the responsible comrades of the Development Zone made a brief introduction to the investment environment of our county; the conference also held a special view of Shuyang's economic and social development.
