However, Amazon's free trade mode in Shanghai has not yet landed.
In May this year, Amazon (China) announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Xiamen municipal government and the government of Tongan District, relying on the Xiamen section of the Fujian free trade area. The three parties hand in hand to bring the Chinese consumers to Taiwan and Southeast Asian countries.
Amazon (China) has not disclosed much about the trade pattern in the Xiamen free trade zone.
But so far, the cooperation has not been formally launched.
Although the free trade mode of Shanghai, Xiamen and Guangdong three FTA still stays in the "armchair" stage, but it is certain that Amazon is implementing the FTA strategy, seeking to cultivate cross-border businesses on the experimental field of the China free trade area.
How the FTA policy falls is the deciding factor.
Back to Guangdong, Guangzhou Nansha, Shenzhen Qianhai and Zhuhai Hengqin three areas, who can get the favor of Amazon?

Cui Min, executive director of Guangdong cross border e-commerce industry association, believes that the most important thing is that Guangzhou and Shenzhen are cross border electricity supplier pilot cities, while Zhuhai is not.
The Amazon Guangzhou operation center, located at the innovation Valley e-commerce demonstration base in Whampoa, Guangzhou, started operation two years ago. The business covers the "one go in and one out" business of cross-border electricity providers. The chain has been running smoothly regardless of customs clearance, warehousing and logistics distribution. Experts believe that Amazon's cross-border trade in Nansha is in line with the trend.
Coincidentally, last week's Shenzhen Hong Kong industry forum, Feng Quan, general manager of the Qianhai import and export department, the first platform company to carry out cross-border e-commerce import and export in Shenzhen, revealed that Amazon is also negotiating with Bao Hong Company.
Does this mean that Amazon may also consider the layout of Qianhai?
Cui Min believes that Amazon's free trade mode is similar to that of the free trade zone and the bonded zone, but at the present stage, the cross-border electricity business relies on the special customs supervision area. The Customs has not released the function of "bonded warehouse Stocking" in the free trade area.

The most likely support for Amazon's choice of Guangzhou free trade area is the logistics base.

Reporters also noted that Niu Yinghua introduced the words "take the lead" and "pilot" in the FTA free trade mode of Guangdong, which means that Amazon's cross-border trade in Guangdong is expected to grab before landing in Shanghai and Xiamen.
Many cross-border electric business enterprises have already landed in Nansha.
What is the development environment of cross-border e-commerce in Guangzhou, especially the Nansha free trade area? According to the statistics of Guangzhou Business Council, 1-4 months of this year, the import and export volume of cross-border e-commerce in Guangzhou reached 1 billion 420 million yuan, accounting for nearly 90% of Guangdong Province in the same period, which exceeded the total sum of Guangzhou last year. The goal of Guangzhou this year is 4 billion yuan a year.
Although the relevant policies have not yet been released, many cross-border electric business enterprises have already made a breakthrough in Nansha.
According to the statistics of Nansha inspection and Quarantine Bureau, there are 190 cross-border e-commerce enterprises in the "intelligent inspection port" public service platform for filing, Jingdong international, 1 stores, jumei.com, Suning cloud providers, vip.com, Dangdang, Tmall international and so on have settled in Nansha.
In an interview with vip.com, vip.com said that vip.com has launched cross-border e-commerce business in Nansha.
The largest cross border electricity supplier in Guangzhou, which is the largest cross border electricity supplier in Nansha, is at the Nansha port "trial list". As the only two cross border electricity supplier pilot cities in Guangdong, the development of cross-border electricity suppliers in Shenzhen can give full play to the advantages of neighboring Hongkong.
According to Cai Yujiang, Shenzhen Wan Lian Technology Co., Ltd., China's 80% supply chain company is concentrated in Shenzhen. Shenzhen has ranked first in foreign trade and import and export for many years. It has airport port land ports, and it can quickly cross the border with Hongkong.
Insiders also pointed out that Shenzhen can introduce a large number of Hongkong producers and retailers to participate in cross-border e-commerce business, give full play to the management and trade advantages of Hongkong merchants, reduce costs, and also reduce the series of problems arising from purchasing agents.

According to Feng Quan, general manager of import and Export Department of Shenzhen Bao Hong electronic commerce Comprehensive Service Co., Ltd., Qianhai's pilot cross-border business import first ticket business was successful in September 9th last year. In March 1st this year, 220 thousand single operations were completed, and the average daily volume of cross-border electricity suppliers in Qianhai was 30000.
They have signed cooperation agreements with Tmall international, jumei.com, Huarun Wanjia and Japanese health care products and drug dealers.
Wu Dongshuo, general manager of Bao Hong, told reporters in Nandu that Bao Hong had talked with Amazon several times before, but Amazon did not sell much in cross-border electricity business, and was relatively immature.
At the same time, they are negotiating with WAL-MART.
