Difficulties In Employment Of Manufacturing Industry Aggravate Labor Shortage And Restrict Economic Pformation
Suzhou is trapped in labor difficulties: labor shortage will constrain economic pformation
Yes
manufacturing industry
In the large scale of Jiangsu, the problem of labor force and labor shortage (recruitment difficulty) seems to have exceeded technology, capital, technology, products and so on, which has become the biggest constraint in pformation and upgrading.
This is especially evident in Suzhou, the first economic city of Jiangsu.
In the first half of 2015, the total economic volume of Suzhou was 708 billion 800 million yuan, increasing by 7.2%, leading to Jiangsu, but the growth rate was in the middle of the province.
According to the statistics of Suzhou Municipal Bureau of statistics, in the second quarter of 2015, there were 240 thousand and 400 employees in 500 "four" enterprises in Suzhou, 13 thousand and 300 less than those in 1-3 months, and 5.2% in the scale of employment.
But the company's orders are reduced and production tasks are inadequate.
Employment scale
The reduction did not change the problem of "hard employment".
According to the latest survey data of Suzhou (500 "four companies"), in the second quarter of 2015, 38.5% of the enterprises reflected the phenomenon of lack of work, of which 47.2% of the manufacturing industry was short of work.
Manufacturing is the core of Jiangsu's pformation and upgrading.
An official of the Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of statistics told reporters in the 2015 semi annual economic analysis conference that "other problems such as capital and technology can help alleviate the problem, but the labour force is difficult for the government to exert itself."
Labor dilemma
Recruitment is difficult.
Difficult employment
It is a dynamic phenomenon. With the economic situation and the ups and downs of the industry, the structural problems in the problem persist for a long time.
Due to the dual impact of increased labor costs and insufficient production tasks, the scale of employment is decreasing, which is the core of structural "recruitment difficulties".
According to the survey of Suzhou Municipal Bureau of statistics, in the two quarter of 2015, the lodging and catering industry remained the main sector of the industry. The proportion of workers and businesses was 80%, and the proportion of electricity and gas production and supply industry was 14.3%. The two were at the same time as the end of the first quarter. The proportion of manufacturing, other industries, construction, pportation, storage and post industry, wholesale and retail industry, and real estate industry were 47.2%, 37.5%, 29.3%, 28.6%, 24.4%, 11.9%, respectively.
According to the survey, 78.2% of the enterprises believe that job seekers have high expectations of salary. 56.4% of the enterprises believe that there is a lack of trained, skilled and experienced personnel in the job seekers, 35.8% of enterprises believe that the number of job seekers can be reduced, and 27.4% of the enterprises believe that job seekers' professional knowledge does not meet their job requirements.
On the other hand, the labor force generally reflects that the salary of enterprises needs to be improved.
A 95 young man worked in Kunshan's electronics factory before the Dragon Boat Festival. Now he sells watermelons in a residential area.
He said, "making money is not enough". "Working in an electronics factory for about 2500 to 3000 yuan a month is not enough for life."
The minimum monthly wage in Suzhou has risen from 1370 yuan in 2012 to 1680 yuan in 2014.
In fact, for manufacturing enterprises in Suzhou, the most needed ones are skilled workers, professional technicians and management personnel. The demand for these three jobs is increasing every year, and more than 30% of enterprises have always considered that they lack the most professional and technical personnel.
However, from the data of Suzhou, enterprises are faced with the difficulties of employment and recruitment, but the negative impact of labor costs has been reduced, showing that the operating pressure is relieving.
However, only 0.2% of enterprises reflect the increase in labor cost by more than 20%. This indicates that the overall pformation of Suzhou's manufacturing industry to the "two high-end" of the smile curve still needs efforts.
Loss of foreign capital accounts for 37.8%
The survey of 500 "four" enterprises generally reflected that the employees' stability was poor and their self churn rate was high.
According to the data of the first quarter of 2015, the total number of enterprises lost 20 thousand and 200 people, of whom 19 thousand and 200 were left by themselves, and the rate of self turnover was as high as 95%, which was 4.6 percentage points higher than that at the end of 2014, and the loss of labor force mainly concentrated on the limited liability companies, private enterprises, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan investment enterprises and foreign-funded enterprises.
According to the statistics released by the Jiangsu Statistical Bureau, the registered foreign capital and actual utilization of foreign capital in Suzhou in the first half of 2015 were 4 billion 50 million US dollars and 3 billion 955 million US dollars respectively, down 10.2% and 31.7% compared with the same period last year.
For enterprises, Suzhou freshmen in recent years
The labor
The education level is obviously improved, and the professional expectation has been raised correspondingly. Not only in terms of wage level, but also more concerned about seeking decent work, so enterprises should "improve management level and create favorable employment conditions".
In an interview, reporters learned that the data of higher education in Suzhou maintained an increase, but officials said, "the proportion of graduates going to Shanghai is increasing year by year."
However, Suzhou registered a net population of 40 thousand people in 2014, of which 62% came from outside Jiangsu, indicating that Suzhou continued to maintain a healthy vitality and attracted external resources.
