GORE Investment Exceeds 15 Million US Dollars, And Research And Development Can Replace Durability Waterproofing Technology.

GORE-TEX manufacturer WL Gore & Associates has invested more than $15 million, and in the next five years, it can develop Durable water repellent (DWR).

Gore said our goal is to provide a new solution using an improved environmental condition, while providing durability and comfort to or beyond the technical level of current DWR.

Perfluorinated compounds (perfluorocarbon) are commonly used in outdoor industries and functionality.

As an improvement

Water treatment, oil repellency and easy decontamination are often referred to as durable waterproofing.

However, with regard to PFCs's doubts about DWR treatment, Gore has assessed that hydrocarbons and waxy bases can be used to replace fluorinated polymers and non fluorinated polymers as two chemicals for understanding the new category of DWR durability waterproofing.

The test results show that the waterproofing durability of the non fluorinated water proofing and waterproofing treatment under normal outdoor use is obviously lower than that of Gore, although it has the characteristics of improving the environment.
