The 10th anniversary annual commemoration of the CSR annual meeting of the garment industry and the social responsibility building of China's textile and garment industry "is the tenth annual CSR annual meeting held by the China Textile Industry Federation since 2006.

The conference summed up the ten years of social responsibility construction and development achievements of the 2005-2015 textile and garment industry, explored the challenges and opportunities of the industry in the new era of responsibility development, and put forward the planning and direction for the next industry sustainable development.

Sun Ruizhe, vice president of the China Textile Industry Federation, delivered the keynote speech entitled "ten years of innovation and the future" for the general assembly and released the "2014/2015 annual report on China's textile and garment industry social responsibility". The theme meeting is divided into four parts: nearly 400 delegates from the central government ministries, industrial clusters, governments, international organizations, embassies and consulates in China, international organizations, international and domestic brands, textile and garment enterprises, social organizations and media, as well as the professional associations and departments of the China Federation of textile industry attended the annual meeting. Nearly half of the participants came from several industrial clusters and enterprises in China's textile and garment industry.

Wang Tiankai, President of China Textile Union, highly affirmed the fruitful results of the social responsibility construction in the textile industry in the past ten years. He summed up the valuable work experience in the construction of the industry's social responsibility from the aspects of theoretical leading and forward standard setting, cross system cooperation, and innovation and R & D promotion of "responsible assets", and pointed out that when the "12th Five-Year" and "13th Five-Year" juncture, that is, the replacement of the social responsibility of the textile and garment industry in the new and old ten years, we should fully implement the social responsibility work from six aspects: strengthening the social responsibility of the supply chain, promoting the green development of the industry, promoting sustainable technological innovation, creating a harmonious labor relationship, sharing the achievements of social responsibility and improving the social responsibilities of international cooperation.

Cao Xuejun, director of the consumer goods industry division of the Ministry of industry and guidance, delivered a speech. In the speech, the Ministry of industry and Commerce highly affirmed the work of China Textile Federation in promoting social responsibility construction at the industry level. She pointed out that China Textile Federation has achieved fruitful results in releasing the industry's first social responsibility construction guidance document, the social responsibility publishing platform, and promoting the social responsibility work in the whole supply chain, and has provided good practice experience for other industries, and put forward suggestions and expectations for the next step of social responsibility work in China textile industry from the aspects of work promotion mode and construction of the industry environment.
