It is worth noting that the developed countries have not withdrawn from the textile and garment industry, but stand at the top end of the global textile and garment industry value chain division of labor.

According to Sun Ruizhe, vice president of China Textile Industry Federation, China ranked first in global textile and clothing trade last year, accounting for 37% of Global trade, but second and third are Italy and Germany, not Southeast Asian countries that are undertaking industrial pfer.
