Kampuchea Workers Demand Pay Raises And Strikes Almost Every Year.

There were strikes in about 40 factories in the Kampuchea Special Economic Zone, and tens of thousands of workers demonstrated that the base salary increased to $150.

The Kingmaker shoe factory representative said that the strikers had only made oral requests, and the factory had not yet received the written request from the workers.
