    Apart from the weakening of export demand and other factors, other major economic indicators have maintained a relatively stable growth.

    The total sales volume of the whole industry was about 200000000000 yuan, an increase of 6% over the same period last year, and the total revenue and profit of garment enterprises above designated size increased by 9.2% and 8.1% respectively over the same period last year, higher than the national average level.

    In 2015, from the global economic downturn to the adjustment of domestic economy, from the slowdown of consumption growth to the increase of comprehensive cost, from the changes of industrial elements to the restructuring of competition pattern, the Chinese clothing industry has been running under severe pressure, and the clothing industry in Shenzhen has also undergone an unprecedented test.

    Nevertheless, the garment industry in Shenzhen has maintained steady pace of development, showing a situation of overall stability, differentiation and adjustment.

    According to the city clothing association data, since 2015, the growth rate of the garment industry in Shenzhen has slowed down.

    In terms of exports, from 2015 to October, Shenzhen's clothing exports were 8 billion 600 million US dollars, an increase of 4.7% over the same period last year, which is higher than that of the national -7.37%. Especially in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian and other garment provinces, exports were all negative growth in the same period.

    At present, the total export volume of garments in Shenzhen is still at the forefront of the whole country.

    In terms of domestic sales, the growth of main business revenue and total profit of garment enterprises above designated size decreased by 2.3% and 3.7% respectively.

    At the same time, the profit margins of enterprises have been further narrowed and differentiation has intensified.

    The pressure of survival for SMEs has increased, especially for small and micro enterprises.

    From 1 to October 2015, 6.3% of scale enterprises suffered losses, and the polarization of business benefits increased.

    In addition, the industry inventories decreased by 3.6% compared with the same period last year, which is lower than that of the whole country.

    Zhang Hongtao, Secretary General of Shenzhen garment industry association, said that in 2016, the association will further promote cross-border integration of industries, drive industrial technological progress and innovation and development, and focus on drawing a picture of the organization.
