In recent years, with the continuous improvement of people's living standards, the demand for imported infant and children clothing products has increased year by year. At the same time, the quality of imported children's clothing is not optimistic.
According to the white paper issued by the AQSIQ in April 2015 on the quality of import and export clothing products in 2014, the highest rate of unqualified products imported from the ports was imported from infants and children, with an unqualified rate of 36%.
It is foreseeable that with the implementation of the first national standard of infant and child textile products, it will help guide production enterprises to improve the safety and quality of children's clothing, improve the quality and safety threshold of imported children's clothing, and further protect the health and safety of infants and children in China.
