    Among them, the water soluble vinylon fiber plant has a high operating rate, and the high strength and high modulus vinylon fiber production capacity has been affected by the European economic downturn. The market demand is shrinking, and the overall supply exceeds demand.

    The future development of Vinylon Industry is mainly based on the development of functional and special properties of conventional acetal fibers, water soluble fibers and high strength high modulus vinylon fibers.

    The high performance vinylon fiber is made of PVA with super high molecular weight and high stereo regularity as raw material and new special spinning technology.

    At present, the main spinning methods of high strength and high modulus vinylon fibers are wet spinning, gel spinning, wet spinning, dry wet spinning and melt spinning.

    Among them, the higher the polymerization degree of the super high molecular weight PVA, the higher the breaking strength of the fibers. When the polymerization degree of PVA is 6868, the breaking strength of the fiber is 15.3% / PVA; when the polymerization degree of PVA is 7000, the breaking strength of the fiber is 16.06% / PVA; when the degree of polymerization is 8000, the breaking strength of the fiber reaches 18.6%.

    High performance polyvinylon fibers are mainly used in protective equipment, reinforced plastics, reinforced concrete and other fields.

    In the application of protective equipment, high performance polyvinylon fibers have high strength, modulus and good adhesion. When aramid fibers are combined, some aramid fibers are replaced by proper structural matching.

    In the application of reinforced plastics, high performance vinylon filament can be used as skeleton material, various pipes and reinforcing materials for adhesive tape.

    In the application of reinforced concrete, high strength and high modulus vinylon fibers can not only effectively inhibit the early plastic cracks of concrete, but also improve the flexural toughness of concrete.

    Functional PVA fibers can be applied to flame retardancy, energy storage, far-infrared heating, and biological reaction carriers.

    In terms of flame retardant applications, high strength flame retardant vinylon is prepared by hydrogel spinning technology.

    Among them, the flame retardant dispersant is blended with PVA solution before spinning, and the flame retardant disperses uniformly in the fiber. The epidermis forms a dense structure, which is conducive to the permanent flame retardant in the fiber and forming permanent flame retardant.

    According to the requirements of relevant indicators, high strength flame retardant vinylon has the characteristics of high strength, flame retardance and abrasion resistance, and no droplets in combustion. Besides, it should also have the performance index of flame retardant content above 20%, limiting oxygen index of more than 29, fiber strength up to 7.5 crest / moisture content, moisture regain 6%, dyeable (reduction, activity) and so on.

    The fabric woven by pure spinning or blending is mainly used for steelworkers' work clothes, fire-fighting clothing, training clothes and industrial textiles.

    In terms of energy storage applications, energy storage materials can be obtained by spinning before injection and blending with PVA solution.

    According to Ye Guangdou, director of the Institute of chemical fiber research, School of polymer science and engineering, Sichuan University, the thermal enthalpy of the storage vinylon fiber studied by Sichuan University is 30 Joule / gram, which is much higher than that of the international Outlast fiber heat enthalpy value of 12 Joule / gram, and the energy storage effect is better.

    Wu Fusheng suggested that the development of the Vinylon Industry should focus on two aspects.

    First of all, in accelerating the research field of vinylon and PVA application, enterprises should make full use of the national environmental protection department to vigorously promote the application of water-based coatings, carry out the application of PVA in the field of water-based coatings, and increase the application of vinylon in building materials, water conservancy projects, municipal construction and road and bridge.

    Secondly, in strengthening the development of new products, first, enterprises should establish technological development centers or research institutes, and set up professional R & D teams to enhance their production technology and innovation ability; second, the industry should set up a "strategic alliance of vinylon technology innovation" to combine production, learning, research and Application, and jointly develop new varieties and develop new markets; third, enterprises should track the development and application of advanced technology and equipment in foreign countries, enhance their production capacity and improve product quality; fourth, increase the protection of intellectual property rights, and encourage and protect technological innovation of enterprises.
