Amazon China Releases "2016 Sea Amoy White Paper" Online Shopping Is Really Getting Bigger And Bigger
Amazon China released the "2016 sea cleaning white paper", from the consumer behavior habits, regional characteristics and crowd characteristics and other dimensions to comprehensively interpret the trend of Chinese consumers' online shopping in recent years.
The white paper has revealed the latest survey data of the third party research institutions number 100 for overseas online shopping crowd. Over 80% of respondents indicated that the proportion of cross-border online shopping was increasing; nearly 70% of respondents had spent shopping and shopping on the major overseas sites of Amazon; more than half of the respondents clearly expressed their love and trust for Amazon's "offshore shopping" store on Amazon's Chinese website, and recommended to other people for overseas online shopping through Amazon's "offshore outsourcing".
The white paper also points out that fashion products are popular among Chinese overseas online buyers, including sales of shoes, clothing, clothing, beauty products, watches, jewelry and so on.
Geographically speaking, the big cities are still strong in the forefront of overseas favorite online shopping cities, while the strength of large provincial capitals and coastal second-line cities should not be underestimated.
The characters of overseas online shopping families are very different, and a vivid picture of overseas Chinese online shopping is intertwined.
According to user survey, the overseas online shopping crowd is divided into six categories according to user surveys: quality first, word-of-mouth oriented, modern fashion, rational economy, explosive new generation and urgent life.
Shoes, health care and clothing accessories are the three favorite categories of Chinese overseas online shoppers, followed by mother and baby and beauty products. At the same time, kitchenware, personal computers, watches, jewellery and bags are also among the top ten most popular categories.
From the brand point of view, the sales data of Amazon's "offshore outsourcing" line, Sam Edelman Sam ed man, GNC Jian An Xi, Calvin Klein and so on, have become the best selling brands of the ten main categories of Chinese seafood lovers.

Word-of-mouth consumers account for 20% of the total, while female consumers are also the majority of the consumers, most of whom are in the second tier cities.
Word-of-mouth consumers are very concerned about commodity evaluation, like to follow up the trend, and prefer to buy beauty makeup, health care and maternal and child products.
"Modern fashion" consumers account for about 1/8 of overseas online shoppers. They are very fond of buying cosmetics, clothing and digital electronic products. Most of them have overseas life experiences, so they have a liking for foreign lifestyles and commodities. Especially when they buy online, they are especially concerned about the improvement of quality of life brought about by commodities.
Similarly, the overall 1/8 of overseas online shoppers is "rational and economic" consumers, taking men as the main body, and buying overseas online for more consideration because of the price advantage.

From the survey of digital 100, it is also found that in 123 tier cities, consumers' enthusiasm for overseas online shopping is decreasing. Compared with offline shopping, consumers in tier one cities prefer overseas online shopping, and the frequency is higher. This coincides with the results of Amazon's "offshore outsourcing" data.
On the contrary, there is a negative correlation between the size of the city and the "personalized" demand of consumers for the seafood. The demand for overseas online shoppers in the three tier cities is the most prominent.
According to Amazon's "offshore outsourcing" sales data, a detailed analysis of the overseas online shopping preferences of cities revealed that users in Shanghai and Shandong were most concerned about commodity prices, while consumers in Jiangsu and Beijing were most concerned about whether they were genuine goods.
Shanghai is a large consumer of formula milk. Beijing prefers imported air purifiers, tap water filters and other products. Nanjing consumers buy more cosmetics, Chengdu people like to buy outdoor products, while health products occupy a large proportion in Wuhan consumers' shopping lists.
