WAL-MART, A Retail Giant, Has Made New Moves To Get Out Of Its Predicament.

The market value has been pushed away by Amazon, only 2/3 less than the latter. Sales growth in recent quarters has slowed down, and annual revenue in 2015 has fallen by 0.7%. Data company S&P Capital calls it the worst performance of WAL-MART in the past 35 years.

Recently, WAL-MART announced that it would convene an open selection called "Walmart Lab 415-C" at the Northwest Arkansas science and technology summit in October this year. The company will interview more than 100 venture companies that specialize in retail, logistics, big data, security and social media, and find out the latest technologies that can be used to improve WAL-MART retail and cooperate with them.
According to Amazon's latest results, Dash Button currently has 80 brands and 100 products, 5 times more than just launched. On the platform orders, there will be at least 1 1 orders from Dash Button, and the most popular products are laundry detergent and toilet paper.
The registration deadline will be 250 in July 22nd.
This is the latest move for the retail giant to shake off its difficulties.

In the past few years, WAL-MART has spent billions of dollars to reshape the entity store system, enabling it to satisfy both retail and E-Commerce orders. They also launched their own payment application Walmart Pay to promote the construction of their e-commerce channels.
Last year, Target, another supermarket chain in the United States, announced its partnership with Techstars, an incubator, which will help Target find new stars in the market and set up a "technology consultant".
The WAL-MART conference will eventually select 25-30 companies, and they have the opportunity to sell their idea to WAL-MART executives in person, and may apply their technology to physical retailing in the future.
In contrast, Amazon launched a year's "one click purchase Dash Button". This "solid button" released in April last year on 1 th day allows customers to place regular orders according to the set quantity. For example, if your laundry powder is used up, click on the button of washing powder, Amazon will automatically generate order delivery.
