INDO INTER TEX, founded in 1993, is Indonesia's oldest textile and garment machinery exhibition, jointly organized by Indonesia's Ministry of industry and trade and the Indonesian textile association.
After 19 years of development, INDO INTER TEX has become the most professional and largest textile and clothing machinery exhibition in Indonesia. It has great influence in the region and has been highly valued and appreciated by governments at all levels and local manufacturers.
INDO INTER TEX not only provides excellent opportunities for international suppliers and buyers to expand their business in Indonesia, but also brings foreign investment and productivity into Indonesia's economic and productivity development.
It fully meets the huge needs of Indonesian and East Asian textile and garment producers and exporters to introduce technology and improve production efficiency. It has become the largest and most complete supply source of Indonesian textile and garment machinery, related equipment and accessories. It is undoubtedly a great event of the East Asian textile and garment industry that must be taken part in every year.
It is understood that Indonesia's important trading partners are mainly concentrated in the Asia Pacific region, including China, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia, with the exception of the EU and the United States.
In recent years, due to the rapid development of China's economy, China's trade status with Indonesia has risen from fifth largest trading partners to fourth, and has become the third largest importer of Indonesia after Japan and the United States.
The Indonesian government attaches great importance to this development momentum and has set up an Indonesian China trade special group headed by the Minister of trade and industry to further implement the signed economic and trade cooperation agreement, promote cooperation and exchanges between the two business circles, create and improve the trade environment, so as to promote the development of bilateral trade.
The textile and garment industry is the largest traditional industry in Indonesia. Its output value, export earning and employment scale have always been the forefront of all industries.
In order to revitalize the textile and garment industry, the government of Indonesia has increased support for textile and garment industry in recent years. In addition to encouraging banks to offer low interest or preferential loans to help enterprises update equipment, introduce advanced technology and modern management, they also provide continuous support for export tax rebates, raw materials and labor security.
Integrating the equipment status of Indonesia's textile industry, the service life of most enterprises has exceeded 10 years' history. They are or are lagging behind the requirements of the economic development of the times, affecting the output and quality of the textile products in Indonesia, and affecting the competitiveness of the international countries.
Therefore, since 2007, Indonesian government departments have begun to implement preferential policies for the pformation and development of textile industry, so as to promote the upgrading of textile industry and help Indonesia's textile industry develop faster, better and healthily. This has brought opportunities to machinery vendors and investors in the world.
