The unqualified items are mainly focused on commodity identification, sewing strength and fiber content.

The logo is the correct information and safe instructions for the manufacturer to express the goods to the consumer. In the sampling inspection of the children's clothing quality, there are as many as 25 batches of unqualified items, mainly due to the lack of attention to the commodity labels by the production enterprises, resulting in incomplete information on the product name, commodity number, fiber content, washing method, product standard number and commodity quality grade.

In the daily wear of children (infants and young children), the unqualified sewing strength items can easily lead to the fall off of the clothes and buttons of infant clothing, which may cause dangerous consequences such as infantile eating and eating.

In this sampling inspection, the sewing strength is not qualified for children's wear up to 13 batches.

However, there were 6 batches of children's garments with unqualified fiber content items, mainly due to the fact that the production enterprises did not strictly check the incoming fabrics.

In addition, in the testing items such as pH value, seam performance, trouser post seam seam strength, button and other non removable accessories tensile force, wet resistance color fastness and other testing items, children's clothing sampled also showed varying degrees of quality problems.

In view of the unqualified children clothing products found in the spot checks, the industry and Commerce Department has ordered the sale to stop.
