2017 International Leather Technicians And Chemists Association Announced Winners

The executive director of the international leather technician and chemist Association awarded professor Mariliz the outstanding contribution award of the international leather technician and chemist Association in 2017. Professor Mariliz is currently responsible for the leather and environmental research laboratory, Federal University of Brazil.

Professor Mariliz began her research in leather industry in 1984 after obtaining a degree in chemical engineering. In the past 30 years, she has made outstanding contributions to the leather industry's technology and research.

Dietrich, chairman of the chemists association, congratulated her on winning the prize. Professor Mariliz has been actively supporting the work initiated by the international leather technicians and Chemists Association. We believe that with extensive knowledge and experience, she will serve the leather industry as always.

The international leather technician and chemist Association's outstanding contribution award was established in 2005.

The Nobel prize, Professor Mariliz, is the seventh Brazil leather scientist to win the award.

The international leather technician is expected to be held on 5-8 February 2017.

After learning to win the prize, Professor Mariliz said that work between teaching and the leather industry was a source of motivation for me to grow, and it was an important moment for her career.

She also thanked her colleagues in the international leather technician and chemist Association for their constant support.
