Chu Yan was initially worried about the establishment of this profession. She loved the traditional culture, but was not sure whether her students, those who were born in the Internet age and those who were born in the Internet age, were willing to enter the history, whether they would like to know the aesthetic development process of the ancient country, and whether they could appreciate the thick and solid beauty of the 95.
In 2015, the specialty of inheritance and innovation was formally established, and it was put together with many other mature majors of Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, so that more than 500 sophomore students would choose to sign up voluntarily.
As a result, Chu Yun's expectation was that only 15 students had passed the course of inheritance and innovation, and the number of applicants was the largest.
Chu Yan did not know why these students were so active. Did she, like her, have seen some old photos of her family, attracted by the rigour of the collar and the elegance of the robe.
In October 28, 2015, during the China International Fashion Week, a series of works entitled "Jue color" was held in the central hall of Beijing Hotel.

But Chu Yan does not want her students to come back in ancient times. What she hopes is that they can master the modern methods, innovate the traditional culture and restore the vitality of the Chinese beauty.
