Joint Efforts Of Government And Enterprises To Successfully Solve The Plight Of Foreign Trade Export
Export is one of the three carriages that drive economic growth.
Reporters learned from the city commerce bureau, the first half of this year, our city has completed the export of 10 billion 270 million yuan, an increase of 0.96% over the same period last year.
Although the growth rate is not large, the growth rate of this 0.96 is hard won, because this is the first time that our foreign trade export has been pferred from "negative" to "positive" for the first time after 14 consecutive months of negative growth.
Our city has a high degree of economic exportation, and most of the products produced by enterprises are mainly exported.
In recent years, the international economy is in a weak state, and consumer demand has been restrained to a certain extent.
Affected by this, our city's foreign trade has been under a lot of pressure. The continuous negative growth of exports is the most concrete manifestation.
Foreign trade exports are blocked, and how to deal with them is the most difficult problem facing enterprises.
For most foreign trade enterprises accustomed to OEM processing, it is not an easy task to take export to domestic market and open the domestic market. On the one hand, enterprises can not get the brand that everyone recognizes. On the other hand, enterprises do not have practical experience in marketing, and a big question mark is needed if the product market is not accepted.
Therefore, doing everything possible to keep an eye on old customers and expand new customers has become the main measure for foreign trade enterprises to deal with export pressure.
"Now our average daily shipments are around one container. In the first half of this year, the export volume of enterprises is US $about 3000000. If we calculate the volume of trading companies, the export volume will be US $about 8000000, and the export situation will be stable."
Ken Chan, general manager of Jiaxing Xingfa luggage and bags Co., Ltd., told reporters that in recent years, in response to export pressure, enterprises have also tried many ways.
As in 2014, through customer feedback and investigation of foreign markets, Ken Chan realized that the future market of hard bags would be bigger. So he made decisive decisions, from soft bag production to hard production. The pace of the quasi market change allowed enterprises to further consolidate large customers like Samsonite and Swiss Army knives.
At the same time, Xingfa bags also take the initiative to connect new customers.
In June this year, enterprises participated in the 2016 "China brand luggage Europe Exhibition" in Offenbach, Germany. At the exhibition, we met a new customer and reached an order for 2 containers. At present, the order is being proofed, and it can be organized after the customer has confirmed it.
"Now we have 6 fixed old customers, plus the new customers developed every year, the order quantity is guaranteed."

Most of these export enterprises are similar to Xingfa bags, so as to cope with the current export weakness by consolidating old customers and expanding new customers.
Statistics show that in the first half of this year, the clothing export of our city was 2 billion 557 million yuan, an increase of 4.83% over the same period last year, and the export of luggage and bags was 1 billion 772 million 900 thousand yuan, an increase of 4.23% over the same period last year. The export of mechanical and electrical products was 3 billion 171 million 190 thousand yuan, down 5.06% compared to the same period last year, but the year-on-year number increased by 1.5 percentage points from last month.
Under the export predicament, enterprises are working hard and the relevant departments are fully supportive.
In the first half of the year, the Commerce Bureau, the United Nations Internal Revenue Service and the safe carried out a roving campaign for foreign trade and economic policies in all the towns (streets) of the city, making policy propaganda for nearly 300 foreign trade enterprises, guiding them to make better use of all kinds of existing business promotion funds, and actively cultivating "Zhejiang export brand" in enterprises. At present, 9 enterprises have won the title.
Vigorously develop cross-border

Actively carry out the pilot project of comprehensive reform of cross border e-commerce. In the first half of the year, it was declared the first batch of pilot counties (cities and districts) for the development of cross border e-commerce in the first batch of industrial clusters in the province.
