The RFID Deployment Guide for apparel industry can provide retailers, manufacturers and suppliers with best practices for low cost deployment of EPC RFID single level markings.
In addition, the guide also contains efficient identification, serialization and placement instructions for the GS1 EPC RFID tag encoded by the global trade code (GTIN).
GS1 Australia's RFID and omnidirectional channel manager Sean Sloan said that the popularity of EPC RFID using the GS1 standard will bring about the improvement of the total supply chain inventory accuracy for the Australian retail industry, reduce the number of goods sold in the store, increase sales, track single items and provide faster payment experience.
