Difficult Pformation Of "Made In Guangdong": Mastering Core Technology
"Pearl River water, Guangdong food, south of the Five Ridges clothing and Guangdong household appliances" once swept the whole country, but when it comes to "Guangdong manufacturing", the outside world first thought of "OEM" (OEM), which means cheap, cottage and low added value.
At one point, Guangdong's OEM processing and three to one enterprises were close to 4, accounting for more than 40% of the country's total.
However, since 2008, the continuous downturn in the international market has made many enterprises that rely on OEM to continue.
In many difficulties, many
Manufacturing enterprises
Turn the vision to technological innovation, so that "made in Guangdong" begins to have a new connotation.
According to the data of Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce, in the 1-10 months of 2016, the export volume of processing trade in the province was 70 .9% compared to that of the "commissioned design + independent brand". As of the end of October 2016, the processing trade enterprises had 24 thousand and 500 brands, an increase of 7.6% over the end of 2015.
Qu Xiaomei concluded that in Foshan, the era of processing trade in the past "three to one supplement" mode has been turned over. Now, ODM (original design manufacturer) has replaced OEM as the main form of processing trade in Foshan.
Guangdong Yi Pu electrical appliance Limited by Share Ltd is a model student of Foshan's processing trade enterprise pformation.
At the early stage of its establishment, the company is a typical OEM OEM. In recent years, it has invested heavily in R & D, created nearly 60 new products, and has more than 100 patents (5 international patents). Its products have gradually shifted to "ODM" operation to achieve pformation and upgrading.
By the end of 2011, when Alex visited Guangdong, every person in charge of a business would speak proudly about the innovation of enterprises in some aspect.
Alex was very impressed: "it is necessary for the outside world to change the impression that Guangdong enterprises are keen on OEM production. Guangdong enterprises are paying more and more attention to R & D, and the corporate culture is turning to innovation."
6 years later, in Sanshui, Foshan, Li Huicheng's factory became a footnote to Alex's remarks.
In the cold spring weather, Li Huicheng stood in front of his workshop and was full of ambition.
Li Huicheng told the times weekly reporter that the main business of the factory is to provide synthetic materials for an international first-rate luxury brand luggage.
Li Huicheng is very proud of the products he produces. "Only when our products meet their requirements, can they sell these packages to tens of thousands of pieces, and your words are sharp."
30 years ago, after two failed college entrance examinations, Li Huicheng had no choice but to enter the five radio factory in Foshan and became an ordinary assembly line worker.
Several years later, he decided to quit his job and set up a factory with his relatives in Danzao, the South China Sea.
"At that time, the money was really good to earn, as long as willing to do, how many orders have, do can't finish."
Taking the momentum of the Pearl River Delta manufacturing industry, Li Huicheng earned the first pot of gold in his life.
After 2000,
Labor cost
Li Huicheng's alarm clock factory has been greatly affected by the rise.
"In the face of cheaper labor in emerging countries, our customers have hurried to cancel their orders and get orders cheaper.
There's no way. We don't have much technical content in our production. Where it's cheap, customers go there. "
Li Huicheng said to the times weekly reporter, "but this is also good, poor will change, change is coherent."
By chance, Li Huicheng met Lu Yonghua, who was still a master of materials at South China University of Technology.
Lu Yonghua came from a professor's family in Guangzhou, and the two people's interest in the new material industry burst forth the sparks of "Routh + rice = Rolls-Royce".
The two hit it off and decided to pform the alarm clock factory into research and production of new materials.
"The initial conditions are not good, even the laboratory has not, I have found some location in the South China Sea Dali family house's first floor, as a research and development base.
And we are the first one here to make synthetic materials ourselves. Others do not believe in our products. We lost a lot of money in the first few years.
At the poorest time, the management team not only did not receive wages, but also posted them every month.
Standing next to the production line of the embossing machine, Li Huicheng told reporters: "when we first started producing synthetic leather, the production line always had no way to produce stable quality patterns.
At that time, the domestic production line was completely unable to meet the technological requirements of foreign countries for pattern pressing, so the pformation of the production line had to rely on myself and swimming China.
He made the design, and I went to rebuild the production line with him. When I was tired, I slept next to the production line. I woke up and continued to do it.
After two and a half months of work day after night, the final embossing was made.
Conquered
Embossing technology
After the difficulties, in 2006, the factory that had lived in a warm and healthy life ushered in the dawn of a turning point.
That year, Li Huicheng and Lu Yonghua took advantage of the embossing skills and took orders for a luxury brand material in one fell swoop.
"We didn't expect to win it, but we also accumulated some of the less high-end customers and started to have some fame.
After all, fame is still important in this industry.
Li Huicheng admitted that he could win the bid, "mainly because we have our own technology to produce synthetic leather that meets the requirements of luxury manufacturers.
Their fabrics need to be coated with layers of petrochemical materials on canvas, and then they should be pressed on them.
That pattern is very hard to print, and that's the biggest difference between our products and the imitations seen on the market. "
After taking super orders, Li Huicheng's factory continues to expand product coverage and enter new fields, in addition to producing synthetic leather.
"Now focus on 3D printing materials, such as developing 3D printing.
Gym shoes
The sole material can be used to buffer and protect the sole from different materials when running.
In 2017, we hope that we can make a breakthrough again and let 3D printed soles go to the market as soon as possible.
"Enterprises must have their own.
Core competitiveness
。
In the past, we did incoming processing, indicating that white dots were meant to work for large foreign companies. If he did not give orders, you could not survive.
Now that we have technology, our products are competitive wherever they go. Chinese manufacturing is really "turning over to be masters".
Li Huicheng was determined to run on the "sharp" road.
