Thierry Gillier, co-founder and chief executive, recently announced the appointment of Jean-Jacques Gu vel to replace Richard Fettaya as general manager of the company.

Thierry Gillier and shareholders of the company, the US private equity fund TA Associates jointly proposed to accelerate international expansion.
TA Associates acquired the Zadig & Voltaire 30% stake in 2012.
Zadig & Voltaire aims to double sales revenue to US $700 million over the next 3 to 5 years.
The brand's sales in 2016 were 350 million euros.
Jean-Jacques Gu e vel has a very successful resume in luxury and retail businesses.
He worked in the fashion department of LVMH, the world's leading luxury group, in the first year of Louis Vuitton, and served as the international director of C line for the last eight years.
He also worked in the French luxury brand S.T. Dupont.
Since its inception, the brand positioning of Zadig & Voltaire has always been between the luxury brand and the parity brand.

Zadig & Voltaire has 320 stores in more than 30 countries, and will accelerate growth in the future through the two markets of the United States and China.
In 2012, the brand entered the US market and opened 13 stores in two years.
The brand will be opened in July next year at Broome Street, Lower East District, Manhattan, New York.

Zadig & Voltaire is also developing more other markets, which has just signed a cooperation agreement with Australia.
In the domestic market, the brand will open a 700 square meter flagship store in Rue Cambon (Kang Pengjie) in June next year.
This flagship store will show the brand men's wear and women's wear product line.
Knitted sweater is still the core business of the brand, accounting for 40% of the total sales.
Sports shoes and leather goods are also the driving force for growth.
Zadig & Voltaire, known for its cashmere clothing, was founded by Thierry Gillier.
After Thierry Gillier completed the Bachelor of fine arts and media in New York Bard college, the knitting series (Knitwear Collection) was established for Yves Saint Laurent and Thierry Mugler from 1983 to 1985 respectively.
In 1987, Thierry Gillier and his brother Arnaud Gillier started their knitwear business. Under the assistance of a group of strategic designers, we successfully established ATG (Arnaud & Thierry Gillier), an international business with more than 300 clients worldwide.
