    Moncler's sales in Italy increased by 7% to 39 million 100 thousand euros compared to the same period last year.     Sales in other parts of the world, including Asia, recorded an increase of 16% to 115 million euros, accounting for 41.7% of total sales.

    Luciano Santel said that Moncler's performance in mainland China has been growing rapidly, but its performance in Hongkong is still poor. Its brands in Korea and Japan have been positively reacted.

    Paola Durante also pointed out that as the global economy is getting warmer, more and more Chinese tourists are returning to European consumption, especially in France.

    When it comes to the difference between Moncler products in China and Europe, the company recognizes that the price in the Chinese market is generally 50% higher than that in the European region. This year the brand will make adjustments.

    Remo Ruffini, chairman and chief executive of Moncler, expressed satisfaction with the double-digit growth of the brand's quarterly results, but stressed that the future is still full of challenges. The group plans to add 15 new stores worldwide this year, half of which are in the North American market.

    It is reported that Moncler's flagship store expansion project in Via Montenapoleone, Milan, has started and will be completed in October. It will become the world's largest Moncler flagship store.

    As of March 31st, Moncler has 191 direct outlets worldwide.

    The group also revealed that Moncler will begin to pform to digital this year, and cooperation with Yoox Net-A-Porter is the first step. It plans to achieve full channel sales in 2018.

    When asked whether it would consider expanding the size of the brand through acquisitions or mergers, Remo Ruffini said that Moncler still needs to improve and improve in many ways, and there is no intention of acquiring or merging other brands.

    It is noteworthy that Moncler's sales rose 18% to 1 billion 40 million euros in 2016, and managed to advance to 1 billion euros.

    This year, Moncler ushered in a strong competitor, Canada Goose Canada geese (NYSE:GOOS). In 2001, Canada Goose had a revenue of only $3 million a year, compared with 290 million 800 thousand last year, and nearly 100 times in 15 years.

    Benefiting from sustained and stable performance, Moncler has accumulated more than 30% of its stock price in the past three months, and its market value is currently about 5 billion 800 million euros.
