Giorgio Presca pointed out that although the brand has never organized an official conference or fashion show to show the latest clothing series, the clothing category contributed 18% of the sales volume to the brand.
The brand will participate in fashion week next season.
Giorgio Presca was appointed CEO in March after the Carlyle Group's acquisition of Golden Goose. In 2012, he joined Italy's famous shoe company Geox as CEO.
He has 25 years of experience in the fashion industry. He served as CEO, VF Jeanswear International president of Citizens of Humanity, general manager of Diesel group, and brand director of Levis Strauss & Co. Europe, Middle East and Africa.
In his early years, he also worked in Nordica and Lotto for marketing.
Giorgio Presca also concluded: "at present, we have 90% sales from wholesale channels.
Because of this, we have started to build our direct network around the world, with the goal of adding 50 to 70 independent brand stores in the next 3 to 5 years.
Retail development, brand globalization and further international business are our common goals with Carlyle. "
In fact, after being taken over by the Carlyle Group, its brand is more important than expanding the two largest brands: Italy and the United States.
Golden Goose also opened a new store in Venice and opened second stores in the United States on Madison Avenue Madison Road, New York (the first one is in Losangeles).
This week, Munich stores and Rome stores are opening soon. London, Vienna and Zurich stores will also open their doors in the near future.
Up to now, the brand has 13 flagship store, located in New York SoHo area and upper east side, as well as London, Paris, Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai and other cities.
"The US market is excellent. We want to open stores in other key cities such as San Francisco, Miami and Las Vegas."

With regard to the international expansion strategy, in September of this year, Golden Goose took the third largest market, South Korea's distribution channel, from the cooperative business unit to the 19 party stores, and Lathan Lathan Watkins legal affairs provided legal assistance to Golden Goose in the handover of direct business.
Golden Goose is expanding its business in Russia and the Middle East.
Brand sales in these two markets increased by two digits in 2017.
In February this year, Carlyle Group announced that it signed an agreement with Golden Goose, the largest shareholder and investment company Ergon Capital Partners, to acquire all the shares of Golden Goose, with an amount of up to 400 million euros.
The deal was led by Marco De Benedetti, a partner of the Italy subsidiary of Carlyle Group, and was executed by the Carlyle Group's Carlyle Europe Partners IV, which focused on the large and medium scale market in Europe, and was completed by the end of March this year.
Golden Goose is the fourth major investment of Carlyle Group in European fashion and apparel industry. The first three investments were Moncler, TwinSet Simona Barbieri and Hunkemoller.
In May 2015, Ergon Capital Partners II, an investment company specializing in medium sized enterprises, acquired Golden Goose 75% equity from the DGPA SGR of Italy private equity fund at a price of about 80 million euros, and the brand co founder Alessandro Gallo and Francesca DGPA retained the remaining shares.
