2018 Pakistan Asia Textile Machinery And Asia Apparel Fabrics Exhibition

Pakistan is the fourth largest cotton producing country in the world. Its spinning capacity accounts for 5% of the world's total capacity and is the third largest textile country in Asia.

The Pakistani government will provide financial support to the textile industry for about 64 billion 100 million rupees, involving tax rebates, tax exemption, loan subsidies and development subsidies; discount rate will fall by 2% from the current 7.5%; the long-term loan to the value-added sector of textile industry will be facilitated, the interest rate is 9%, and the term is 3-10 years; exporters with 10% increase in export volume will enjoy preferential tax rebates, including 4% of clothing tax rebates, 2% of garment tax rebates, 4% of processing fabric tax rebates, and two years of tax exemption for imported textile machinery and equipment. The preferential policies for upgrading and upgrading will also continue.
