In order to excavate the skilled craftsmen in the field of wool weaving and high quality Chinese sweater manufacturing enterprises, cultivate the famous designer of wool knitting design in China and create the new force of wool knitting original. Under the active appeal and planning of the famous wool design expert Chen Juan, 2017 the first "Knit Power (knitting power) China wool design elite invitational tournament" came into being and was held annually.

In 2017, the first "Knit Power (knitting power) China wool design elite invitational tournament" was founded by the China Textile Business Association, and Dongguan wemei Creative Technology Co., Ltd.

In addition, the "China (International) knitted wool Fashion Week" sponsored by the China Textile Business Association aims to build the first commercial platform in China focusing on wool knitting. Its purpose is to expand the "four project" in the field of wool knitting, that is, to nurture "famous teachers, famous brands, famous enterprises and famous schools" to help pform and upgrade the wool knitting industry.

[2018 KNIT POWER]

In 2018, the "Knit Power (knitting power) China wool design elite invitational tournament" will be held on May 3-5 at the FASHION SOURCE Shenzhen international garment supply chain Expo [spring]. Since December 2017, it has been collecting all over the country. The participants are the skilled craftsmen in the wool weaving industry, or the enterprises with strong originality.

The competition jury is also very strong. Besides the leading designers, senior media people and famous clothing brands in China, Zola, President of the Guangzhou branch of the French ESMOD Clothing Institute, is invited to join one of the four leading international fashion designers.

This year, the jury will also increase professionals in woolen machinery and raw materials to show the authority, integrity and impartiality of the competition.

Details of the competition

On the 3-5 day of May FASHION SOURCE Shenzhen international garment supply chain exposition [spring], "Knit Power (knitting power) China wool design elite invitational tournament" static exhibition will be held at the booth C02, C05, D01, D02 and D03, and will be held in the afternoon of May 4th.

During the exhibition period, 200 square meters of static exhibition area will be held at the same time, the excellent works of elite athletes will be displayed in a static manner, excellent sweater and yarn products, and the fashion trend information display of sweater brought by the weave drawing platform.
