Guo Pei, who graduated from the clothing design department of Beijing Second Light Industry School in 1986, is the first generation of fashion designer in China and the earliest advanced custom costume designer in China.
She has made many gowns for many people who attend important occasions. More than 90% of the Spring Festival Gala comes from her workshop.
