1. yesterday's market and Forecast:
Yesterday (January 23, 2019), the PTA futures market declined, and spot prices fell sharply. The negotiating price was 6450-6490 yuan / ton.
Crude oil fell sharply, cost side was closely followed down, terminal textile started to decline significantly, downstream polyester production and marketing dropped, late polyester entered the Spring Festival production reduction expectations, at a high PTA operating rate, entered the storehouse stage, it is expected that PTA prices will fall slightly in the short term under polyester production reduction and macroeconomic impact.
2. upstream market:
(1) crude oil: closing on January 23rd: Russia's actual output cut is not good, and international oil prices continue to fall, but the recovery of US stocks and the weakening of the US dollar limit the decline.
WTI fell 52.62 to 0.39 dollars per barrel; Brent 61.14 fell 0.36 dollars / barrel.
China's SC main force fell 1903 to 10.1 yuan to 428.4 yuan / barrel.
(2) on PX:1 23, the Asian PX market closed at $1055.33 / tonne FOB Korea and 1075 US dollars / ton CFR China, down 11.67 US dollars / ton compared with the previous trading day.
