Baoding Gaoyang County Textile Industry Cluster Won The Provincial Signboard

Recently, Gaoyang County textile industry cluster has been identified as the demonstration industrial cluster of Hebei small and medium enterprises by Hebei Provincial Department of industry and information technology.

Gaoyang textile has a long history. It started in the late Ming Dynasty, flourished in the late Qing Dynasty, and flourished in the early Republic of China. It took off in the 80s of last century and entered a new century.

There are more than 4000 textile enterprises and individual processing households in the county, of which 59 are regulated enterprises, and 20 thousand are textile machinery (sets), employing more than 14 people, with an annual output of 500 thousand tons of towels, accounting for about 1/3 of the total towel production in the country, and 20 million tons of blankets, accounting for 28% of the gross output of the national blanket.

In 2017, the textile industry in Gaoyang County achieved an output value of about 35 billion yuan, and contributed more than 65% to GDP. It has been selected as the hometown of Chinese blankets, the textile base county of China, the famous towel and blanket city of China, and the professional demonstration base of the national foreign trade pformation and upgrading.

The county has 4 well-known trademarks in China (Sanli, Yong Liang, Zhi Yang, Rui Chun), 33 famous trademarks in Hebei, 13 famous brand products in Hebei, and 9 high-quality products in Hebei.
