Gongbei Customs Intercepts For Export To Macao Fake "Supreme"

Gongbei customs has announced two suspected cases of infringement.

In February 21st, a Cantonese direct freight vehicle was declared to leave by Hengqin port. There were 50 pieces of groceries, including alarm clock, towel, electric kettle, clothing and so on.

The locale officers found that the quantity of the goods was complicated and varied, and they were pported to Macao, and there was a great risk for the export of the foreign company.

The inspection found that there were 94 knapsack with "Supreme" logo, and 100 clothes with "UNDERARMOUR" logo, which were suspected to infringe the relevant intellectual property rights of the rights holders in the Customs General Administration.

On the same day, the Gongbei customs also seized 40 "Nike hook graphics" logo knapsack exported by a company in Zhuhai to Macao for export. The company was suspected to infringe the relevant intellectual property rights of Nike innovation limited partnership in the Customs General Administration.

Customs related business departments said that the backpack and Nike genuine like, once the market is very easy to mislead consumers.

In February 27th, the relevant rights holders made a written confirmation to the Gongbei customs that the above goods were all suspected of infringing on the exclusive right to use the trademark, and the customs held the goods concerned in accordance with the law. The case is under further investigation and processing.
