In April 10th, the brand children's clothing net learned that suning.com's acquisition of Wanda Department store has entered a substantive integration stage. According to Suning's internal staff, 37 Wanda general managers have arrived at Suning's headquarters in Nanjing for a monthly meeting.
Since April, the business change procedures of 37 Wanda Department stores have also been carried out in an orderly manner, and the acquisition and delivery will be formally completed this month.
According to the analysis of the people concerned, Wanda Department stores have 37 stores in the country, most of which are located in the CBD or downtown area of the first and second tier cities, and the total annual passenger volume of each store is as high as 250 million. According to statistics, there are about 4 million members.
Shortly after the acquisition of Wanda, Suning signed a contract with the Italy Foreign Trade Commission and plans to introduce 150 Italy brands this year.
Recently, Gong Zhenyu, President of Suning fashion department store, revealed that suning.com's acquisition of Wanda Department store has no capital level considerations, and is in line with the development needs of the entire group. He believes that as a fashion department store, the future will still be built around the two platforms.
And will further improve the entire layout of the smart retail eco layout, by attracting more platform manufacturers, platform brand settled in Suning, combined with Suning home Plaza and other digital iteration, so that Suning and consumers interact, while in the supply chain port can also combine Suning advantage to serve users.
At the same time, Suning will vigorously launch more areas of development. Su Xiansheng, Suning shop and Suning retail cloud will join in the new development mode. Mutual innovation can bring new opportunities for development, and combine the new Wanda Department store with consumers to bring more convenient experience.
This series of practices can further speed up the spanformation of commodity supply chain while rapidly locking the scene resources under the high quality line, and bring more benefits to the listed companies.
According to suning.com's 2018 annual report, the total revenue in 2018 was 244 billion 957 million yuan, up 30.35% over the same period last year. Among them, small household appliances, fast food, fashion department stores and other non-traditional household appliances category has become a new growth engine.
In the future, suning.com has greater ambitions: "in 2019, the overall spanaction scale will grow by more than 150%, and the annual revenue target will be 20 billion yuan, with a focus on nurturing, creating 50 million + grade merchants 50 and 10 million + grade merchants 30."
