Baoji: Private Textile Industry "Going Out" New Growth Momentum Of Foreign Trade Growth

In recent years, Baoji has actively grabbed the opportunity of the belt and road, and has also focused on cultivating the private textile industry "going out" on the basis of the traditional "treasure" oil equipment, switches, bridges and other international markets.

In the first quarter of this year, the export of private textile in Baoji was over 100 million yuan, accounting for nearly 1/3 of the total export of the city, and the private textile industry has gradually become a new kinetic energy for the development of foreign trade.

Baoji Quanxing Textile Co., Ltd., located in Changxing Textile Industrial Park, Meixian, Shaanxi, was a traditional textile private enterprise mainly producing low-end white yarn before 2018. In the face of fierce competition in the market, under the guidance of local business departments and parks, the business pformation to overseas markets, with their improved color spinning technology after the technical pformation, focused on the production of high-end fabrics. In a year's time, the export volume of the trade exceeded tens of millions of dollars.

At present, the volume of foreign trade has accounted for more than seventy percent of total sales.

On the basis of cooperation between Vietnam and Africa and some other countries in the Middle East, we have to expand the new market. We recently worked with a businessman in Taiwan to discuss the development of short sleeved undergarment research / development and knitting knitted underwear with some customers in the south to increase sales volume of foreign trade."

In recent years, Baoji has invested 20 million yuan to support the technological pformation of private textile enterprises, and imported 2000 imported German jet looms. The production efficiency and quality of enterprises have been greatly improved. Meanwhile, private enterprises' participation in international market awareness has also been increasing. On the two day, 12 textile enterprises in Baoji have gone abroad to participate in the international textile and textile exhibition held in Vietnam.

Shaanxi Xingzhou Technology Co., Ltd., one of the exhibitors, is the only printing and dyeing enterprise in the textile and apparel industry chain of our province. Its products are well received in Africa and North America. In the first quarter of this year, enterprises have already completed the foreign trade orders of over $3 million, and this year they plan to expand the South American market in addition to exhibiting the Southeast Asian market in Vietnam.

Zhou Yang, vice general manager of Shaanxi Xingzhou Textile Technology Co., Ltd.: "in the second half of this year, we are going to add two foreign trade offices in Shanghai, Guangzhou and some other coastal cities. With the increase of our foreign trade, our existing equipment can no longer meet our demand for orders. In June, we will have two new production lines. The two new production lines are expected to create nearly ten million of our output value at the end of the year."

Up to now, there are nearly 30 private textile enterprises with foreign trade achievements in Baoji, and the export volume of private textile industry ranks first in the province.

This year, Baoji will also focus on coordinating financial institutions to centrally solve the financing difficulties of private textile enterprises in the development of foreign trade, and actively send policies, services and training to continuously enhance the confidence of enterprises in developing and developing the international market.
