Exports to the US market

Export volume: in 2018 1-12, the total value of textiles and garments exports amounted to US $1 billion 140 million, up 10% from the same period of the previous year. The main export items were garments and clothing, with an export value of US $900 million, accounting for 79% of the total export value, followed by fiber products, with an export value of US $90 million, accounting for 8% of the total export value.

Fiber export value increased compared with the same period of the previous year; yarn and fabric declined; garments and apparel products grew by 8%.

Export volume: the export of yarn and fabric in 2018 1-12 declined compared with the same period of the previous year, while fiber and miscellaneous growth.

Exports were mostly garments and clothing, with an export volume of 310 million square meters and a growth of 14%.

The average unit price of exports: the average unit price of fiber and yarn increased by 18% and 6% respectively compared with the same period of the previous year.

The average unit price of cloth and miscellaneous products decreased by 10% and 23% respectively.

The average unit price of exported garments and clothing decreased from $3.04 per square meter in the previous year to $2.88, a decrease of 5%.

Export to EU market

Export volume: in 2018 1-12, the total value of textiles and garments exports amounted to US $1 billion 230 million, up 1% from the same period of the previous year. The main export items were garments and clothing, with an export value of US $840 million, accounting for 68% of the total export value, followed by cloth, with an export value of US $110 million, accounting for 9% of the total export value.

Yarn and fabric export value declined compared with the same period of the previous year, fiber and miscellaneous growth, clothing and clothing grew by 2%.

Export volume: 1-12 months in 2018, the total export volume of textiles and garments reached 183 thousand tonnes, representing a 5% decline compared with the same period in the previous year.

Exports were mainly fiber, exports amounted to 64 thousand tonnes, accounting for 35% of total exports, 2% of recession, followed by 34% of clothing and clothing, and 7% of recession.

The average unit price of exports: the average unit price of all products except cloth is increased compared with the same period of the previous year. The largest increase is fiber, up 17%.

The average unit price of garments and clothing exported from the previous year increased from $12.28 per kilogram in the previous year to US $13.46, up 10%.
