Guangdong College Student Fashion Week Performance Exhibition Of Costume Design Works Of Hongkong Fashion Institute

On the morning of May 18th, the first academic conference of 2019 China (Guangdong) college fashion week was launched.

The graduation exhibition of fashion design is staged in Guangzhou International Textile City.

In this exhibition, 26 series of 130 sets of works from the Shenzhen, Guangzhou and other campuses of the Hong Kong Academy have joined hands to show the Hongkong garment Institute as an outstanding feature of the International Fashion Institute, showing the teaching achievements of the new era and new style.

This graduation exhibition is based on the Chinese nation's "cultural confidence and national revival" as the theme. It is guided by the "national tide" and integrates national design elements with modern fashion. It aims at guiding students to explore traditional culture and endow them with modern clothing fables, inheriting Chinese traditional culture in a rich form, and building a great revival of Oriental fashion, offering 70th anniversary tribute to the founding of the people's Republic of China.

With their unique perspectives, students interpret the style of the times, national elements and urban fashion, which fully demonstrate the solid design skills and skilled level of the new generation of designers in Hong Kong, and present a rich and colorful passion.

After a fierce competition, the three players who finally entered the semi-finals were: 1, Liao Yaqin, Chen Jieyi, and Cheng Er Ru's work, Yun Yun, won the gold medal of this competition in one fell swoop.

The silver prize was awarded by Guan Geyi, Zhang Yi and Luo Zhi Zhi's works, "national color" and "cuckoo" designed by 10, and the bronze medal was awarded by the works of Liang Chunmei, designed by Liang Chunmei, Huang Liuyin and Hu Yue, 11, Huang Liuyin and Hu Yue, and 20, Wanrong Hui and Li Xiaofang, designed by Ding Hui, 20.

According to the stipulation of China (Guangdong) University Fashion Week Organizing Committee, the top three winners will be promoted to the "Guangzhou International Textile City Cup" and the 2019 Guangdong college students' outstanding costume design competition.

In the twenty-nine years of running schools, the Hongkong Institute of clothing has been working hard on the way of running "specialized", "precise" and "strong". In the mode of running schools, it is more daring and innovative. The earliest practical case teaching method has been extended to the present time. The teaching is guided by the market, taking the road of school enterprise combination, paying attention to training students' practical ability, actively expanding the international vision of running schools, strengthening cooperation and exchanges with other countries, creating a new mode of international cooperation and educating people, and developing a new channel for teachers and students to go abroad and to the international market, forming a well-known "Hong Kong Hospital phenomenon".

After the performance, President Zhou Shikang said in an interview with the media that China (Guangdong) college student fashion week is a platform for Guangdong fashion education exchange and learning, a booster for the development of fashion industry and a stage for new generation designers to set sail.

Every year, the Hongkong Fashion Institute starts with an amazing debut, winning a number of trophies and bringing up countless elites.

It is understood that this China (Guangdong) college fashion week is a fashion event jointly hosted by the Guangdong Provincial Department of education, the Guangdong clothing and apparel industry association, the Guangdong apparel Designers Association and Guangzhou International Textile City.

From 17-30 May to 14 days of 2019 China (Guangdong) college fashion week, a total of 33 outstanding graduates from Guangdong local universities have gone to the dream stage to perform a wonderful graduation show.
