It has the ability to deal with all kinds of risks and create opportunities to accelerate the development of high quality.

China's industrial textiles are actively innovating, enriching product supply, implementing intelligent green pformation, improving the quality and efficiency of products, promoting cross boundary integration, promoting application, expanding market space, achieving sustained and high speed growth, and playing an important role in promoting the adjustment and development of textile structure.

At present, technological innovation and consumption upgrading have changed the relationship between traditional industries and consumers. The development direction of high performance fibers is mainly focused on 3 aspects, one is high-performance fiber and composite materials, and the other is organic and inorganic high-performance fiber and its composite materials. It meets the strategic needs of aerospace, defense, military, high-end equipment and advanced manufacturing industries; the two is to open functional fibers and low dimensional materials, providing theoretical basis for functional, intelligent fiber materials and engineering development, providing core technical support for forward-looking fiber research and large volume, wide fiber and prevention industry; three, developing environmentally friendly and biological fiber materials, breaking through the comprehensive utilization and performance improvement of bio based fibers, and building a multi life cycle green processing system for fibers.

As a diversified high-tech industry spanning many fields, the future development of the textile industry will focus on 5 fields, namely, strategic new materials, environmental protection, infrastructure, emergency public safety, and "civil military integration" products.

The development of the application field has also strengthened the development of the finishing process.

The application of post finishing technology to industrial textiles mainly includes 4 technologies: coating, laminating, compounding, and rolling. It can give the products various excellent properties, such as waterproof, oil proofing, flame retardance, electromagnetic shielding, etc., to meet the application of different products in different fields.

Li Guimei, vice president of China Industrial Textiles Association, summed up the work of the association in 2018 and introduced the work priorities of the association in 2019.
